Great vid. I've had an SDrive 30i for the last two years, but opportunity has allowed me to upgrade to the M40i. It's on the way, portimao blue/cognac interior. Looking forward to it.

Great review! The Z4 M40i now comes with a manual. That's what I would opt for. And that Thundernight Metallic is amazing!

2025 Z4 M40i does now have a manual option "Handschalter" option.

They make a little adapter to get the wireless CarPlay and Android Auto for it

What are your thoughts about the handschalter edition ... Is an O.K. manual tranny going to make the car better overall than the ZF 8-speed? I favor manuals but I've heard such good things about the ZF. I figure the ZF will be faster accelerating and faster in any lap times this car might get.
