Great episode! Linyanti sand is legendary, always tough but worth it for the view. Thank you for posting

Hi Marco, It is my first Land Cruiser - supposed to be the last ;-) - and it is not as comfy as the Hilux, or Ford or Amarok. But it is built STRONG! The engine with factory settings are not that 'lively' BUT it delivers power in a wide rev range. That makes it unique. Since I did a remap it truly has become a BEAST! I fell in love with the vehicle! Thank you for your comment and view

@@ExperienceWildAfrica Land Cruiser is undeniably the pack leader. Having watched your Linyanti experience (and I take your opinions seriously), my wife and I dropped Linyanti from our itinerary for next year August (I have a 2011 Defender 110 2.4 Puma) and sadly, as much as I hate to admit it, I don’t think I have enough Puma power to plow through that sand for 30 Km at 4500 rpm….. Sad 🥲 as we thought it was the most spectacular campsite we have seen and were keen to see it as well. Kudos to your cinematography and editing, it’s really good. Look forward to watching your past and future adventures. Mozambique is an unknown to me so looking forward to that.

Hi Marco, Thank you for the compliments. Please note not all of the route to Linyanti is that sandy. Sure some sections are, but they may be 2 km long then normal sandy-type roads, then another 500m section then normal again. Not every kilometer is that hectic. I would estimate that 1/3 of the distance could be challenging, if you tow. If not, the Puma will make it!! :-) Take sandtracks / MaxTrax (they DO make a huge difference) with you and go see the place ~ share tour photo's though! :-) Cheers

IHAHA is my favourite. We did this trip in August after Oppi Panne(a let down)we wanted to stay at Linyanti but due to tour guides and bad management could not find a spot there. We went to Mwandi View for a bit of a break for a little more glamping for 3 days then to Kasizinga(spelling incorrect I think). Loved it, then to Kwai, second favourite. Planet Boabab, Kubu Island, Khama Rhino, and then back home to Gabz. Was amazing. We were about 6 caravans and each place was unique. Botswana is for sure a beautifull country. A sunset cruise on the Chobe river is a must. Eliphant crossing to island was beautifull. Saw the big 5 plus plenty of other wild life on this trip was a everthing day.

Hi Naomi, We loved Ihaha, but I have to be honest - the Khwai area is where I find my soul again. That place just speaks to me! Chobe aka Ihaha is also worth at least 2 nights. A boat cruise is a must I agree. Victoria falls will also be on our list next time we are in Chobe. Linyanti was fun. Beautiful as well, and I think worth 2 days. Savuti (our next video) I can drive around there for days! Khwai is worth staying a week - easy! :-) Kubu island has this mystical feel to it. It feels ancient. It feels special. Not much to do other than relax, sunset and sunrise and the beautiful Baobab trees. We are already planning another trip to Bots for 2024. Cannot wait!! Glad you enjoyed the video! Cheers
