Thanks! I almost always use a page from the back of the notebook. It just ensures that your spacing lines up because the grid can vary from notebook to notebook. Since Archer and Olive's paper is such good quality, you shouldn't have any issues with it being to flimsy. I use mine all the time and I haven't had a problem.

It’s mainly scraps from kraft paper notebooks that I’ve cut Dutch doors with or tabs. I also have a Neapolitan notebook (white, black and kraft paper) from Archer and Olive that I use as a swatch book so sometimes I use pieces from that if my scraps aren’t big enough.

Don't feel like you need to use an expensive journal when you're first starting out. My first bullet journal was a very cheap notebook from the grocery store. The best part about this hobby is that you can do whatever you like with the supplies you already have.
