John, I just took the 705 off the front of my 1200 GS. 13,000 and still had tread, but was worn in a way that made it howl like nobody’s business. Cant complain about that.

Another great video, Jon. I'd been looking forward to this installment and will be looking forward to Colorado coming up. The CF Moto continues to impress and the scenery is hard to complain about. Keep up the good work!

I had the twitchy throttle problem. I saw a post in a Facebook group about resetting the throttle position sensor. It worked for me, but others said it didn't work, so your mileage may vary. But here is what I did: bike in neutral, turn on the key and the kill switch, but don't start the bike. Hold the throttle full open for 60 seconds. Close the throttle, turn off the kill switch and key. Turn them back on and start the bike. That made a big difference for me. Might be worth a try.

Early June I rode from Tontitown, AR to Mancos, CO. I rode through Cimmaron Canyon in NM. It was really beautiful. A tight narrow canyon that reminded me of the Ozarks. Sadly, the return trip home was 200 miles of rain across OK.

Wow you've got some countryside over there! Big and quiet and where's the traffic?😂 New to your channel and interested in the bike. I see you had an fjr13, which is big and comfy and lazy. How do you find the cf compared to a bigger inline 4? Is the CF a lot more revvy? Loving that relaxed accent of yours too.

Good to hear from you sir, glad to have you along... the Ibex is just as good as the FJR to travel on I would say. the comfort is as good or better as the FJR. There is defiantly more leg room on the Ibex. The FJR's would cramp my legs on long days but I do not have that issue with the Ibex. The Ibex does rev a bit higher at highway speeds than the FJR's but not by much.. Either bike is a really good way to travel... Thanks for watching sir... :)

@@ozarksbackroads5484thank you for the reply. I've not ridden a CF yet but was impressed by the comfort at my local dealer.

Hello there, good to hear from you. I wear the Xelement 1446 Vigilant Logger Boot from Leatherup.com. I have had Xelement Boots for many years and they always hold up well and are comfortable. These boots are not water proof however... If you get in the creek your gonna get wet feet... Thanks for watching and keep safe out there... :)
