Chevy has said that modern DCTs are more like 8%-10% drivetrain loss. At 10% loss your 605 HP number becomes 672 HP at the crank which is exactly what the car can do.

So the C7Z06 is faster than the C8Z06 on a roll. Makes sense with similar power ratio and more TQ on the C7Z

My 15 Viper was low 7s and 6.9 with the arrow tune

Best I ever did with my ARH catless Arrow 2014 GTS was 7.3, and I am pretty decent at power shifting (on my channel). Z06 is still kinda disappointing considering the claimer power and DCT. Viper had huge drivetrain losses too, but still can hang.

The Viper engine is significantly larger with a completely different torque band. It's quick because of the initial torque hit and band. Launch them on the street, from a stop, and you will see why Mid-engine is a killer.

If you judge the car entirely on one straight line metric like that it seems silly but the reality is there is MUCH more to a car like that than a 1/4mi or a highway pull it is a mid engine sports car. If you’re chasing numbers buy a GTR

The C7Zr1 runs 6.8. Either your spinning, using traction control to hook or something else is wrong.

The C7 ZR1 makes 755 hp and 715 lb-ft of torque. Completely different power bands. Using peak numbers, as a measurement for comparison, is a bit amateurish.
