Z06 is naturally aspirated. This Vette is a killer. While most other exotic sports cars use power enhancers this ride doesn't. Lot of jealous people out there hating on this ride, but this is one of the fastest naturally aspirated exotic rides in the world, that's a fact even if some people don't want to believe a chevy can smoke half a million dollar exotics, and even some million dollar exotics.

Car is designed for race track not even drag racing . Also, it’s NA unlike all these modern day forced induction cars . Despite the skinnies and drag radials the car still has the power to put down these numbers . Add to that the way it corners , brakes and sounds and it’s an amazing car ! I just hit 500 miles on mine and I’m more and more impressed everyday ..

Corvette has always done it better than everyone else. The C4 in 84 was destroying exotics on the racetrack, so much so that it was banned from competition and they had to create a series to itself. The C5 Z06 put the Italians on notice, the C6Z06 was a world beater, The blue devil C6 ZR1 beat everything on the streets, the C7 ZR1 made Ferarri and McLaren go back to the drawing board, and the C8 Z06 is doing it again, and they still have 2 more models to go. All at a quarter of the price. Corvette always has and always will be the King

Aero played a big part in that trap speed! Notice no front splitter and no high-wing spoiler. People don't realize that a base model Stingray will trap a little faster than a Z-51 spec, so it seems the same applies to the Z06. Well done everyone!

A stock vehicle is a car that is 100% factory stock, or "stock down to the tire" as we used to call it. A drag radial is NOT stock. A Cup 2R would be considered stock for this vehicle.

I understand and am a super fan. But again, "bone stock" is, to me: you order it (or from the lot), and there are ABSOLUTELY zero changes of any kind, from when it came from the FACTORY. No aftermarket or tuner anything. Of course, no matter what, it also comes down to the driver and surface/weather conditions, in regards to who knows how to tame their beast. Keep it coming! @@gloriamaletta8667 WRONG. The SF 90 Stradale beats the ZO6 even in the the 1/4 mile. True sports/race car manufacturers do not make 1/4 mile cars, which is a short distance for a foot race, now imagine for a car. Hence in ITA (where they know about cars, food, art and fashion) it is considered a meaningless stat and outright stupidity for a car. A sports/race car must have it ALL. Not just one thing. The ZO6 is still trailer trash made good, I got some Budweiser right here, Yee-Haw!

Eventually for sure. You can get a good C4 for 10k or less and when you adjust for inflation they were just as expensive as the C8 when new.

huge vette fan and owner, but skinnies on the front is not stock, cant tell what tires on the rear but anything more than R888 is not legit. if its stock truly , about bringing the car to east coast to help , help what? If they are stock , was it altitude? Track temps? The other i heard was track prep. That is huge. LOL just noticed end of video, " NON OEM WHEELS AND TIRES" . SO, front and rear tires, total track prep makes sense. LMR truly took a stock z06 barely after break in ran 10.3, non prep track, hot during the day. Makes sense having rears and skinny fronts with a track prep pulling what it did. its NOT a stock world record they say it at the end.
