Great review. I rented a 2022 SS Convertible on a dive trip down in the Florida Keys. These cars are a rocket ship. Completely impractical unless you live where it's warm all year but boy was it a blast to drive.

Own a 2017 2ss. Hood and taillights are the biggest changes. Theses cars are very fast due to there light weight. I’ve done a few things to mine to make it faster nothing major. White with the kalihahari top and seats. I get a lot of compliments on my cars looks. It also eats challengers for breakfast 😂 Thanks for the review.

Nice review of the Camaro. The sound is best when you push it in second gear (2500 rpm plus). BTW - the title of your video strongly suggests you would point out what is different in the 23 model. So nothing new?

If Chevy would've updated the interior to be more modern, and now with the addition of the camera mirror, I think It would've been a more compelling buy. But it is still a remarkable bang-for-the-buck.

More modern? Compared to the Mustang the interior as as modern as it gets. My work truck is a 2018 Tacoma. Camaro's interior drastically beats it. Unless you mean 2020+ modern but you only seeing that on higher trim cars that cost over 40k. In which case if you want that get a Vette.

@@lyingasshoes9455 no. Dodge has had the same interior since 11 - refreshed n modernized in 15 at least for fhe charger n the 300. They are the ones that need to drop their ridiculous prices. At least with chevy n ford, they gave a much quicker transmission n the stang got a more powerful v8 engine

0:03 *Overrun. Overdrive = a gearbox feature. Overrun = when you lift off the gas and the engine goes into engine braking.

Great review Ben! When you said the front end of the previous version looks better I hope you are not talking about the 2019. That was a one year mistake. I have a 2017 SS Vert and if thats what you are talking about, I agree. Interesting enough I drove a C8 Corvette Vert for a few days and my Camaro has a few aspects that are much better than the C8. Now if I can just get my 23'ZL1 Vert that was built in June and still sitting in a parking lot at the factory with no end in sight. :(

@@James_Garden Nothing is wrong with it. I have a 2019 as well. It doesn't look as good on certain colors butt as long as your primary color meshes well with black it's fine. It was a one year "mistake" yet Camaro sales have trended downwards since meaning 2019 has sold better than each year after.

Also just FYI. I daily drive my 21 2SS in all ceramic white. The white leather is super easy to keep clean. A couple wipes and its back to bright white. Dont be dissuaded.

Chevy just release their 'Build & Price' for the 2023 model year lineup this morning. I have to be honest, the price difference between a _2022_ Camaro ZL1 and the _2023_ ZL1 is ridiculous. There used to be an overlap between the ZL1 (both standard and 1LE) and the C8 Corvette (in all trim levels). Whereas now the 2023 C8 Corvette *_starts_* around ~$90k+/-! So much for touting the C8 Corvette as an "affordable supercar". This is getting absurd to say the least. Meanwhile I, like many others, continue to grow anxious with anticipation for Dodge to release the 'Build & Price' for their 2023 Challengers. My wife is salivating at the thought of building her own Plum Crazy Purple Scat Pack Widebody with a six speed manual. She refuses to drive it but still wants one nonetheless. No matter what, we must do our part to 'Save the Manuals'. Stay classy my friends.
