These new Colorados are wayyyyyy better then them new gen tacos! That’s why I’m buying a Colorado ! Tacos are dead I loved my 2019 but trading it in for a zr2 !

I have a ZR2 and have babied it for 7k miles compared to what you use your truck for. I'm glad to see someone else beating the piss out of it and it taking it no problems! Your truck looks killer with those 35s and the DV8 bumpers. I'm taking my truck on its first big off road/road trip to Arizona and Utah next week and am super excited to see what it will do!

I used my daily 2022 Corolla se to pay off my Colorado Trail Boss, I also used Lyft to pay off my Corolla, my truck is still show room new, I can’t bring myself to pound on it but enjoy watching videos of what these trucks can do! Now I’m gonna start building my truck up to how I want it to look!

ZR2 is not worth it's. I'm at 15k miles and it been in the shop 3 times for major warranty repairs. The DSSV shocks are worse than the Z71 base suspension.

I’m at almost 32k miles lol love my truck. No issues except for window switches. Dealer took care of those. Love your vids bro!

I’ve owned my Colorado Trail Boss for about a year , I thought putting 3200 miles on it was to many! I only drive it when I want too! It would take me 10 years to put 20k miles on it ✌️

I saw a post on one of the Colorado forums about the bed hitting the cab. The dude said he had 4 people in the truck along with camping gear and hit a big bump in the road. Had the same kind of mark (drivers side) and actually broke out a section of the back window on the drivers side of the slider. I found it hard to believe the truck flexed that hard then actually went back to being straight, but your post kind of confirms it.

King Shocks makes some exteternal rezzi shocks and even have a coilover option with adjustable lift for the front but that's a lil on the pricey side for me right now plus I want upgrade my arms with lift and widened at the same time cuz with kings here in Arizona I'll end up pushing the stock ones too far till they break..

Agree. I’ve put 10k miles in my Trail Boss. Love it and I’ve had no problems but I’m seriously thinking about trading it in for a ZR2 for added capability and a couple interior features. Anyways, I’ll be at Overland Expo. See you there, bro!

I'm living vicariously through you. Also, have a 23 Z71. Just decided to send it and throw a lift and new/wheels and tires on it. Probably do it next weekend once everything is here but I don't plan on beating the shit out of it like you. Mostly, just for aesthetic purposes. Love the truck but it looks a little wimpy right now lol. Couldn't live with myself spending all that money just to break it so I'll just watch your videos instead. Agree with almost everything you said here. Glad I'm not crazy for thinking cloth seats are just more comfortable than leather. Maybe back in the day when they had that plush type of seats but cloth seats today feel more premium than leather imo.

Did you end up swamping the full suspension out or did you just put lift spacers in the muiltimatic coils? Any details on your lift would be dope - lifting mine but I really don't want to swamp the nice factory multimatic suspension system - lmk!

I have the shitty oem suspension for the z71 lol no one has coilover kits yet 😭😭 hopefully soon ! I have a 2 inch puck lift that’s it :(

Hey brotha quick question… how tall are you and how tall does the truck sit on 35s and if I’m not mistaken I believe you have a 2 inch lift right?? I was planning on doing a lift and 35s but I love your set up and I was curious about the actual height of it?? I wanted to do a 4 or 6 inch lift! Can you give me your thoughts on that and if you would ever go that high on a Colorado? Thanks again for your feedback and consistency 🤘🏽

I’m 6 foot 2 inches and yes 2 inch lift and 35s puts me at about 14 inches of ground clearance just the perfect amount, if you do 4-6 you will lose a lot of ground clearance with the cross members drop and your ride quality will be shit 💩 max lift would be 3 inches out of a coil over not a lift kit ! The only reason why I ask is because I’m going from a Lifted TRX on 38s and a 7 inch lift and I’ve always loved the lifted route except it was way to tall that I couldn’t get into any parking garages out here in Vegas!! So when I stumbled upon your Channel I was automatically hooked dude!! So that’s why I want to get the Colorado and still have some height but not too tall!! Sorry I’m too informed on the lingo … but it simplest terms , which brand would you recommend for the lift/coil over in the 3 or 4 inch lift That you were saying ? So i saw these bad boys and decided to get one. Within 500 miles something in the engine popped and had some liquid spilling *to this day idk what had happened as i was never told about it* so my dealership gave me another new one. Right away i noticed problems with it *stutter breaking, clicking in the front left tire and other small issues* woke up the next day to take it to the dealership and it was stuck in park. Could not move from park at all, got it towed and the dealership had found multiple other issues that was installed incorrectly causing my issues. Got everything resolved and a few miles down the road what do you know, it was stuck in park AGAIN! Currently waiting for her to get out the shop and all of this has been under a year. I just wanna do cool truck stuff man🫠
