Ohh man. Been waiting for you to get a 270. That thing is sick!!! Honestly my 270 was the best purchase ive made in years!! I absolutely love them. Im so excited for those bumpers. Cant wait to see them. Definitely getting the rear bumper. Im working on installing my front bumper right now. Great video!!! Keep it up Ive also been thinking about getting the prinsu. But figured ill get the rear bumper first lol

Honestly, I think a hinge style bracket for the awning/tent opening at the same time situation would lead to headaches down the road… I would look into having a beefy L bracket that would mount under the tent and extend out far enough to allow the tent to open completely independent of the awning,

That’s what I was thinking after I’ll probably have to redesign something els I have a couple ideas ! But I just gotta find a day to try them out !

I'm actually thinking about designing and building my own camper, with a welded square tube aluminum frame, with thin sheet metal riveted to it, then covered with boat-grade fiberglass on top, and thin aerospace-grade plywood and insulation on the inside. It would stick up only about as high as the antenna so I know it'd fit in my garage. No pop-ups or anything fancy, just long enough and wide enough to fit a queen size air mattress above the wheelwells and some storage below. Couple windows and a locking door, and I'm set.

Plywood and fiberglass add weight. I'd try to stick with as much aluminum and foam as possible. It's a bit pricey, but honeycomb board is rigid and a weight saver

I giggle knowing the beginning of this video required you parking the truck, getting out to set up the camera, getting back in, and pretending like you never got out as you drive up to it and park haha. It's that kind of silly camera work that makes your videos seem so natural!

When you get this open does it leave a gap at the tailgate end of the tent like most of the others? My OCD would find that super annoying 😅 thanks.

Dont think tents that fold out that way can ever accommodate a 270° awning while staying open. If a reliable option was possible, I feel like it'd already be done by now
