Idk I’m still considering the frontier. I get a standard v6 which I expect won’t be under as much stress depending on what you are using it for. I’ve heard turbos have more frequent and expensive maintenance intervals. It’s cool but I’m basic I imagine my trucks like donkeys than race horses. I also expect Nissan to keep this configuration for at least a decade which means parts will be easy to find and actually get cheaper once a new model comes.

I have one. Coming from Tacoma World, I tried the Hyundai Santa Cruz, the transmission went out at 6,000 miles and Hyundai gave me nothing but problems about it. LIED about all the RECALLS on the Santa Cruz, so, I sold it. Ive had my 2023 Colorado Trail Boss for 2-3 months, about 2500 miles, no problems. I do hate the engine disable at traffic stops... Mine sorta cant make up its mind if its going to kill the engine or just sit there and stutter.. its annoying. Id rather have standard gauges, and not a screen. Id rather have a REAL speedometer not digital, a real headlight switch. Size and comfort is very good. If Chevy dropped all the digital tech wizz-bang Chevy could get this truck closer to $20,000... out the door, and they'd sell millions. Price matter. Quality seems to be there. Built in Missouri USA, not China. Another reason. BUY AMERICAN.

This is the kind of truck people will actually use for work and carry cargo on the bed. I recently saw a Japanese imported kei truck haul more cargo than an average 80k full size will carry.

I was looking at a Colorado a while back. I just couldn't bring myself to buy it. I say if you want a truck, get a truck. For $42,000, I picked up a 2022 Ram 1500 classic Warlock. V8 Hemi, loads more leg room, can tow 11,000 lbs, heated seats, heated wheel, 20 inch wheels, etc. Truck was used with 689 miles on it. Basically brand new. If you want a truck, get a truck

Still waiting on my 2024 WT 2WD that I ordered back in Dec 2023, I'm retired now and got all the safety features and still came in under 34k. They local dealers try to push a Trail Boss or ZR1 4X4 they had in stock and I don't need a 4X4. All I need was a pickup to replace my 1991 S10 with 108k miles on the 4.3L V6 "best engine ever"

I am about to get mine next week!! They are delivering it to me from a nearby city thats like 3 hours away. I had a hard time trying to find one in my area. All Chevrolet dealers were adding a mark up on colorados!! I t was crazy. So I had to do a little bit more of research till I found the colorado at the actual price the website shows. I think I will love this truck!!

We were kept losing out b/c these trucks are bought before they arrive at the dealership. We got lucky a week ago and got one off the truck. Had to wait 2 days for prepping to drive it off the lot. Great truck so far. It’s our second 2.7 but our first HO/Max.

Absolutely love my WT 4x4. I've had it for 1 week now. Love the looks over the "slab side" style. Couple of minor nit pics: During your overview you should have pointed out the optional equipment as you went along, IMHO. Yeah you showed the sticker with the options but with short attention spans many may not make it that far. . Kudos to Larry Miller for not adding a bunch of dealer BS, i.e. "paint protection", "vehicle undercoating", and most egregious an IKON tracker system which is redundant with On Star. My dealer did all those for $1200 of pure profit over and above the normal profit. BTW: Tacomas are not dogs per se, they have terrible throttle lag, which is fixed with after market products. Liked the review!

I like that the WT wheels are not hideous and I prefer steel wheels when it comes to balancing versus the fancy wheels requiring sticky weights. Just my preference!

Car Companies really got you guys brainwashed if you think 34k for a Base, small truck is " reasonable" 10 years ago the base price for this same truck was 17k. That's 100% increase in 10 years. In 2003 i baught a Brand new 2002 Dodge ram sport SLT 4 door for less than this. Keep drinking that cool-aid.

Definitely interested in this, with the mid range engine and 310hp / 390 lb.ft torque. 7700lb towing is awesome in mid range. Totally unsure about the 8 speed transmission though. Supposed to be redesigned/improved, time will tell. Waiting for real specs on the 2024 Tacoma. Frontier is decent too, old school non-turbo V6.

The front end reminds me of a Toyota tacoma and the doors and everything about it and rear end maybe does resemble there silverado truck and that infotainment screen the dash can't tell you how much it reminds me of something from a Toyota.

so i know for the base model engine its towing is 3500lbs... and if you move up to the next engine its 7700lbs... hows that work? just a tune upgrade? does it need physical upgrades? hows that work? there is one at my dealer in grey, its 36k... only option on it is a spray in bedliner... for that price.. i might pass. their "standard price" is... 32,500. lol what happend?

85% of the 2nd gen Colorado run was 4 door, short bed. Thus to keep production up and costs down Chevy went with the one body style. Like the Oval did with their Mav and that has not hurt sales.
