By far the new look of the Colorado is a way better looking truck than it used to be. If I wasn't towing heavy or down sizing from an HD I would be very happy down sizing to the Colorado or Canyon. For the best comfort though if I was down sizing I think I would get the Silverado. Thanks for the comparison review of both trucks JB.

From my use case the other Silverado option next year is the way to go in WT trim. The Colorado is just too small in capacity for me to consider. I use a leaf blower to clean out my all vinyl interior every couple days as it gets gritty at my job site locations. I pull an equipment trailer for my job daily. My 2011 LT has about another year left before it needs to be replaced. I plan to leave the ICE bandwagon altogether along with the bi-weekly gas station fill ups and just plug in every evening. I am looking forward to redeem my reservation for the Silverado 4WT sometime next year. Downsizing is just not for me at this time, but saving a buck or two over time on fuel roller coaster is.

I briefly looked at colorados and abruptly switched to buying a silverado. The Colorados seem very expensive for what they are. Didnt seem worth it for me being just a few more grand will get me a 1500. I remember my 08 colorado was actually affordable. But to each their own.

The thing that upsets me is that you can get fog lights on a Colorado lt but not on the Silverado lt
