I had a Colorado 2019 LT as my first truck and I enjoyed the maneuverability, mileage for gas. I upgraded to a Silverado RST 2021. The Colorado helped get me used to driving trucks, it was a great break in vehicle for first time truck owners. I have to say as much as I liked the Colorado, I love the RST Silverado. Mainly because I have so much room inside and it’s exterior is aggressive and catches everybody’s attention. The gas isn’t as good but it’s not bad. And I feel much safer because of its size. So definitely I’m Team full-size

I have a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Custom double cab with large bed 6.5 feet, huge, came with stock 20" wheels, which feels like I have a 2" lift kit, I love my truck with only 7,200 miles...

Midsize price and maneuverability and full size AT4 with 3.0 diesel for better fuel economy and power.

I am actually looking into getting a truck 🛻 in the next year as a replacement for my 155k mile 2013 Chevrolet Cruze that I have had for 8 years. I have wanted a Colorado especially the ZR2 since 2016, but could never afford it. I now have a wife and a 3.5 year old step son and hopefully 🙏 God willing a baby girl 👧 in the future (she’s not currently pregnant 🤰) so I may have to go full size for more room and capability. Not sure 🤔 yet, might have to take a car seat to a dealership to see if it fits in a Colorado.

I have a 2007 2500 4x4 Chevy Silverado Duramax SLT (my tow vehicle) and a 2016 Chevy Colorado 4x4 .. my Silverado has 57 k on it and my Colorado has 24k. My Duramax is a truck and the Colorado is my fun and fuel economy. Both great trucks.

I sat in a Colorado and I drive a Sierra. The interior of the Colorado felt like I was in a Corolla.

I've got the 2016 1500 in the same red color. Also a "unicorn edition". It's an LT with all the LTZ options that yours has PLUS the full crew cab and 6.5ft bed. Absolutely love my unicorn truck.

If owner that tows 8000# with his 1500 tries pulling that box trailer with a 2500HD '10spd Allison' (6.6L L8T V8, or 6.6L Duramax) => Mind Blown!🤯 So much more stability and confidence.

I traded in my '16 Canyon SLE All Terrain for a '22 Silverado Custom Trail Boss (step down interior wise). Took me a week to get used to the higher ride height and learning where the corners of my vehicle are. Best vehicle calculated MPG was 27.2mpg on the Canyon w/ 3.6L v6 with Green air filter only, and the best I've gotten stock on the Silverado w/ 6.2L v8 so far is 22.7mpg, but I'm working on improving that.

My 2 cents.... Unless you have a specific reason for 1 over the other, be it size (wider or narrower/taller or shorter), go with the full size. When you get down too it, they're both gonna be roughly the same price, when you add on options. The full size usually comes standard with most if not all of the midsize trucks optional stuff. One thing I never understood thou.... why only a 5.5 foot bed on a crew cab? I've extended frames and moved axles to convert truck into specialized work trucks at work, even shortened frames for some... so why can't they just be sold with a crew and 8 foot bed, whys that limited to the 2500/3500? Is it simply to push you to those?

Agree, I'm always having to drop the tailgait for that extra length and run heavy duty straps across the back.

Can someone help me with a decision. I’ve been doing research on my first truck, and I have it narrowed down to 2 trucks… either the 23’ Colorado ZR2 or the 21’ Ram Rebel. It’s my first truck and I’ve only ever driven a ford fusion but with my new job I want a truck. My family has always had a Ram and I love the Ram box, multifunction tailgate, and big back seat. But bc of my lack of experience driving a Truck I feel I need a midsize… anyone have an opinion?

GM has been reluctant to update center stack configurations in the FS pickups because they have so many old school buyers that despise change. They have to cater to those consumers and regular buyers

If we’re talking about midsize trucks today compared to full size trucks in the 90s, for sure. If we’re talking about trucks today, they’re definitely different sizes
