Oh boy Abby what a busy day. Your effort looks really good. I would love to jump into some of those cookies, but I don't think my doctor would agree with the sugar content. 🤣🤣👍👍

I love when your video comes out each week!! I have tried several of your recipes!! I see several from this video I want to try. What is in your brown sugar? What would happen if you used 4 full eggs, instead of 2 eggs and 2 yolks? Thank you! Merry Christmas!!
@abbeyverigin11 ай бұрын
Thank you Carrie! That meant a lot. Brown sugar is just sugar and molasses. You can adjust the molasses depending on how light or dark you want your brown sugar. 1 cup sugar and 1-2 tbsp molasses. If you use whole eggs in place of just the egg yolk you’ll end up with a more cakey cookie :) Merry Christmas!

It looked like there was a disc or something in the brown sugar, I thought it might be something to keep it from clumpling. @@abbeyverigin

I was just thinking the other day that I need to make some iced oatmeal cookies! I've never made them but I randomly was remembering having iced oatmeal cookies at church as a kid and it made me all nostalgic. 🥰 Yours look exactly like I remember them, too. So did the green frosting TASTE like dirt? 😂

No it didn’t, I should have mentioned that 🤣 thank you for watching!

Wow those sugar cookies looks amazing. Is that the normal amount of frosting on a sugar cookie?? I’m from Denmark 🇩🇰 so have never tried them. We have lots of Christmas cookies to. But not someone like that. Have a merry Christmas. We celebrate Christmas eve the 24. With a big dinner, ( pork with crackling, duck, white and caramel portates, red pickled cabbage, and the best brown sauce of the year 😍 and then risalamande with cherry. And the on that find the hole almond, get the almond present ) singing and dancing around the Christmas tree, and then opening the presents . The 25 most people rest or have a Christmas lunch with lots of open sandwiches on rye bread , snaps and beer. But most people have it the 26 so they rest the 25….

Thank you! These may be frosted a little heavier with the piping bag/tips I used. They are delicious but rich, so we only have them this time of year. My husband lived in Demark for a year, so all of those traditions sound familiar to me! We have made risalamande many years for Christmas :) Merry Christmas!
