It HURT my heart to see you revving down the street on first gear. I’m assuming you never learn manual and just jumped into paddle shifters? I’d say get rid of that practice and you won’t be seeing any issues with your engine. Thanks for sharing boss! A true gem.

Dude 1st gear is designed to push the car from a stand still. It has the max amount of torque literally not hurting it at all. He just wasting gas at most.

Full break-in is 1500 miles, and you're redlining in 1st gear. Don't complain when you have issues.

Break in for track use is 1500 miles. To take the engine to redline is 500 break in miles. He’s fine.

@@Fat-bananas I believe they recommend driving low medium high rpm’s you unlock over 6500rpms after 500 miles and track only after 1500 miles

Learn how to drive. Why are you shifting into 1st gear when stopping and redlining the thing? GM will see that and consider it abuse for when your $50,000 engine or $30,000 transmission fails. You're driving completely wrong.

@ the car automatically goes into 1st gear when stopped. Downshifting to first while moving is causing a lot of stress to the drivetrain and is not necessary.

It’s weird when Chevy sounds better than anything BMW, Mercedes, McLaren, etc. it sounds as good if not even better than a Ferrari at least the new ones with turbos. Strange times 🤨
