With your 4000 stella a Daiwa Exist would be more of a comparison. The Saltiga is more of a hard-core reel. The Exist competes against the smaller Stella models.

I just bought mine today during the black Friday. Nice discount. But I do notice the drag knob is kind of made from a plastic for a $1000 reel. I also notice the drag sound is also super quiet compare to my 14000 2020 saltiga.

Nice! I’m an Stella guy and this is my first Saltiga. Compare to my Stella the saltiga drag click is a little louder.

How do you like that twin power? Is that the one with 62 lbs of drag?

I really like the TP SW. it’s almost smooth as the Stella. Just not feeling solid as Stella since TP housing is made of plastic. My TP in the video is 8000 PG gear ratio 4.9 max drag of 62lb.

The H gear ratio is 5.7:1 and the XH gear ratio is 6.2:1

One local to me brand new on marketplace for $500. Bad time to have car bills. Maybe next check if it’s still available (I doubt it.) would go perfect with my Crowder E Series 6,6” 30-50lb.

No it isn't, the gearing runs nowhere near as smooth as the 23 Saltiga does. Have you actually spun both reels? Or do you talk off your ass? The Stella FK (the finesse version) is the smoothest spin reel in the current market, however the Stella SW is nowhere near the smoothness as that reel.

@@danielwutfisho talk of my ass? listen you little welow shhit all my reels are steIla and saltiga I own 2 Stella’s SW 6000 and 14000 plus a saltiga 4000 and 8000 plus 3 Stella FE and daiwa don’t even come close to Stella except the new saltiga 4000-6000 and even then Stella is noticeably smoother so go play with your little toothpick kid and don’t talk to me about reels.
