2023 F250 DEF Fault - Speed Limited to 50 MPH

In this video we show our diagnosis and repair of a 2023 Ford F250 that's displaying a "DEF Fault Speed Limited to 50 MPH" message. Codes in it were U1011, U0074, U1013, P23B5, U02A1. The main code that would come back on every test drive was U02A1 - Lost Communication With NOx Sensor C. NOX sensor C or 13 would stop reading, and occasionally the entire powertrain network would crash. The problem turned out to be a network wire shorting on the passenger side valve cover.

We had pin spreading at PCM due to a mechanic at a different shop jamming something in there to test with, then cutting wires that should not have been cut at all.... El Butcho El Chopo

The pins are so small on every thing now days you have to be really careful about that.
