I’m from Sacramento, CA we only have 4 ford dealerships and when the GT500 came out with their base $77k USD MSRP the dealers were selling them for $100k. They still go for that. Base model Corvette C8’s at $66k MSRP are listed at $120k MSRP. Ridiculous.

I wud call guys at Ford lazy and foolish at times.. They never do things right in right time nor do they release relevant products in relevant countries. Fords Global C is such a flexible platform a Ford Focus if launched at US between 18-28k USD would still bring Ford volumes. They didn't need too many engines and trans.. Just a 8/9 speed and 1.5l EB engine Also the Raptor should never ever have been a V6. A 5.0 Raptor with 420 hp would ve ensured 3x times sales for Raptor even today. Also Ford has very good ecoblue diesel engines.. The SUVs like Explorer, Edge, Expedition all would ve returned impressive mpg if they had diesels and just 1 gas power option They could ve made Ranger an exclusive turbo diesel truck which wud ve amassed much more interest. 2 many more issues with Ford and their stupid team in USA

I have been waiting forever it feels like for the R to drop and hopefully it puts the raptor back on top! I also love my trackhawk, it is so addicting hearing that supercharger whine lol. For some reason I feel like the horsepower range will be in the mid 600’s. Hopefully not though.

I paid 4k over MSRP and the very next day a dealer wanted to buy it off me for 10k on top of what I paid. Lol. Noway. Not selling it!! I love it!!! The raptor is still in the family becuase I’m waiting on that R. But I’ll be honest. I love it for road trips. Very comfy and spacious. And I have all the Offroad essentials: bed rack that holds max trax extreme boards, 10 lb power tank, pro eagle big wheel jack, krazy beaver shovel, extra spare (total two with one underneath truck), and I even had my guy custom weld a bike rack on the bed rack. So i feel super safe traveling far with it. But it sounds like shit!!! Lol

A v8 in the raptor or trx is dumb. I don’t know about the intention of the trx, but the raptor is an entry level Baja truck. The suspension can barely handle 450hp and current weight of the lighter weight raptor. If you see video of the v8 raptor, the suspension did not do well when it went over a series of whoops. That’s what you get when you go on desert runs. Sometimes 20, 30 mins of one whoop after another.
