From 2020 to early 2021 you were able to option a 250 or 350 XLT CCSB with the Tremor. 2022 was when Ford pulled off the plug on the XLT Tremor Super Duties and only reintroduced them on the 2023 trucks, when I found out I can get the XLT and Tremor together again that was one of the biggest buying factors why I ordered an F-350 XLT Tremor 7.3.

Xlt trim has some advantages since some incentives are only for xlt trims, like lower apr and rebates. I dont mind the xlt, only thing that i will miss is the auto 4wd option which is useful up north in the winter time. To get the HO 67 on the xlt is actually pretty good. I would buy this truck, with a 6k rebate and low apr. It's good that ford lets u configure it this way.

No fords above a 150 have the auto 4wd feature. I believe gm is the only manufacturer that offers that. Ford has never offered it on a f250 or above. Only f150 lariats and above.

You are wrong ! You were always able to get the Tremor in the xlt. They just put a temporary halt on its production in 2022 due to supply chain issues. It’s cool tho, thanks for making videos.

@@JB_WhoWork you are absolutely right. That is an amazing number especially with the diesel. My 22 F350 7.3 4 x 4 lariat only has a payload capacity of 3721. My truck arrived from the factory just this last January. Having seen all these videos on the 23s makes me wish I had given up doing the 22 and waited for the 23. All that aside. Still a great video. Thanks.

I have a 2019 xlt. 631 hp 1231 tq, dyno. 89k on those numbers with 18 city 23 hwy. Doubt that truck can do that let alone i did all for 47k OTD in 2020. Brand new.

There are quite a few 2022's available, manufacturers are playing a shell game with their inventory doing everything possible not to lower prices, it is at the point either they send all their employees home or they start offering 20% off MSRP and offer 5% or less APR for all.

Also the AVERAGE ford consumer is not coming in and buying a f350 with this trim package. I wish people would stop casting their financial situation on others. Realistically, most guys hold on to their trucks for a while. Depending on how long, most are rolling in positive equity into new trucks on top of any extra money they put down. Actually in 2020 the Tremor was available in XLT.. Ford skipped 2 years and brought them back with the 23 model.. I agree with many of the comments, no way I'd spend that for anything less than a Lariat.. By the way I own a 20 Lariat Tremor.

It’s a nicely equipped truck for sure but I have to point out you can get an LTZ Chevy for the same money and have everything it has and then some. Also, an LT Chevy would be 8-10k less and have everything it has and then some. But, still nice and has nice options. I do think it’s worth mentioning the GVWR has been increased on these trucks but the axle ratings were not. And you actually said the rear went down. I think this is Ford doing typical Ford things and now they are artificially inflating their payloads. They are the king of marketing though so I’m sure they will be plenty of ads bragging this up but like you said, in the real world if you’re trying to stay within your trucks ratings it’s going to be tough. I bet the truck nearly exceeds its front axle just the way it sets.

I do agree that tow ratings dont reflect the payload capacities they are designed to work within. Nearly all SRW diesels have this problem. That being said the steer axle on a SD Tremor is infact a Dana Super 60. Aka the fatboy. Its a torsional strength monster. Highly valuable. You dont get that super 60 on anything less than a F450 or a Tremor. Gas or diesel

I’d honestly pay the extra for the lariat . The lariat is really up there with the platinum minus a few things right? Massaging seats , rear cooled seats , that sort of stuff I want to say is all. The limited badging inside is so ass. Nobody wants that…. Lariat high is the best . They need to option platinums and limited without the silver tail gate. The blacked out platinums look pretty cool tho . It’s just hard to relate to your employees with a silver tail gate

Unless you really need to have the brand new 23' I would let someone else pay the markup, and wait until early 2024 to get it at a fair price.

The payload numbers are really getting up there. If this truck had the 7.3L gas engine the payload would probably be approaching 5k. I have a 2022 F350 Tremor Lariat with the 7.3 and my payload is 4,008 pounds.

I can agree with this. Adjusted for inflation the price of this truck isn’t much more than a loaded 2004 F-350. But you get way more features and capabilities than you could’ve even imagined in 2004. This truck can tow the 2004 with its max trailer weight connected to it while steaming Spotify through the B&O sound system, navigating on Waze and the adaptive cruise doing most of the driving easily maintaining 70+ mph.
