Full coverage of the Freedom Factory Spectator Drags Open Track Night event during the 2023 race season. Huge thank you to the whole team at the Freedom Factory along with all the drivers who put on a great show! Unfortunately the competition rounds were cut short toward the end with a patch of rain that completely soaked the track in less than 5 minutes. I've only just become aware of this form of motorsport (regular people taking their dailies for a respectful head-to-head around a relatively small oval) but I fucking love it! It's so real you know? Street racing is very bad but also very fun and spectator drags are probably the best legal way to chase that high.

Is the start finish line not at the half way mark? Odd to have it right at the end of the turn. Is it mandatory to buy a Freedom Factory hat or are the free with entry? I sometimes wonder if people don’t know they can take the inside line if it’s open. You and Carbon do a good job on filming and editing.

I think that 49 F2 pickup is sitting on a NASCAR chassis. lol. Years ago there was an old truck like that but it was white that used to do spectator racing around that area, and it was hard to beat him. The last time I got to watch it race he lost it coming out of turn 4 and came across the finish line backwards.

I looks like the guys racing don't know when to go. Why not have a simple light that when it goes off or on you go. all the guy in the tower just hits the button Have the light at ground level, so the guys don't have to look up. Many guys are not sure when to go, huge disadvantage

@@CamaroSS2236 I watched the exact same races between Kyle from the boosted Boyz and Garrett 3 weeks ago . Kyle has since put the front fenders and hood back on and he almost hit the wall on his second run against cleetus. All the same cars there. Rained out at the end. And Garrett has been up here in Michigan with the SXS blog guys in Midland and then off to silver lake sand dunes with them before going to Bristol. I don't know that cleetus does events during the week days? But what I saw was 3 weeks ago. What are you talking about, what date do you claim this occurred? I call BS!

Tesla’s participating is so unfair. Electric will always beat Gas because of the lack of engine weight let alone the way Tesla’s are built. Make these races fair, no car stood a chance against a $60k battery that has no weight.
