@@WheelHeadd the no apple carplay and android auto is a long standing issue with Geely and they need to get over themselves. The engine size though im not going to agree with you there. Most sedans in that class have that displacement or less.

KPanda called it Cost effective. But the real price from it's first release is coping up to the real market price. Lucky those who bough 1st releases. The price is promotion and the quality is graded. I hope the quality material used are not minimize to latest releases at the increase cost of if ever.

If you don't want headaches, do not by any of their products. Mine is still at the service center since August 2022 due to lack of parts. Until now, they can't tell when will these parts be available. Save yourself from stress!!!

I have just invade other FB channel to ease my doubt before buying this Car. Theres a post also having same issue and the parts are 9months to came in PH. Even its a Toyota .... and other post all new models are this is the major problem. This releave my worries. We hope soon you got your parts. All car owner even other brand please take care and mature enough and seriously take care your cars. not double not triple to make it last longer serves us longer at intent by the engineers.

i plan to buy this, ain't bad for 7 to 8km/L in city drive it doesn't significantly change from my old one. so probably i adapt that fuel mileage 😅. im use to it 7~9km/L

Seeing a lot more Emgrands on the road and its definitely a good looking car than the MG5. However the lack of apply car play and android auto can be a killer while MG5 has them.

They studied this well for the price. Some enthusiast don't mind Car play . the builtin mirroring are suffice to its category since I'm not apple user too. 1.5l CVT engine is too much to its luxurious design. Mg gt is designed for race type. Exterior design must match its engine and purpose.

@@ricg2005 For me, regardless if you're an Apple CP/A-Auto user or not, it should have this "modern basic feature". I mean, what's the sense of its luxurious look without that basic feature? It's already down on power and it lacks this necessity for lots of drivers nowadays. Emgrand was one of my options before I bought my MG5(from 1 Korean car and 3 Jap cars) and sadly, I felt like I would be paying more for less if I would've chose it. 😭

@@Usersf134ssk when we plan to buy our 1st new car. We don't know why diretso agad sa Geely ang 1st choice since we don't know anything about cars. But our reference only are being a rider for a long time. Once we seated in the car we knew that this is it. Prior to that I have been watching available yt video just over night. Then we compare to 2014 Camry because that's already talk and ride that car a week before planning to buy nalang brand new para 1stname to me.😂 I hope that your exp is correct to MG cause were just learning things beautiful about this car. Kudos and good choice to us.

@@Usersf134ssk I'm not an agent of MG and I don't plan to be. 🤣 Just a user that's happy with my MG5 and frustrated at Emgrand at the same time(because of the points that I said above). I like both the MG5 and Emgrand and I would love to have them both in my garage if I could, but man, I hope when that day comes, they would have complete features.

@@Usersf134ssk The lag can be easily removed via the Engineering Mode. I was able to remove mine as soon as I purchase my MG5. Also, my kids can watch on YT while I use Google Maps at the same time on the stock headunit. The power difference would be noticeable when you have more passengers though. Power-wise, I chose MG5 as it can top at 190kph+ which is close to the top speed of my previous car, Lancer EX 2.0 which was around 200kph. If only Emgrand had more power and A-auto/Apple CP, I might've considered it instead.

Good that they have a competition coming from China now. 😂 where hoping were not going to disappoint. Our Premium going 1yr and where expecting more from the engine hardship-this one have gone in Baguio and Ilocos didn't encounter problem so far.
