A nice big truck. Has good looks. But I never ever will spend $84,000 for a 1/2-ton 4X4 truck. No auto up and down rear windows. The engine reliability is a real concern at this point. Speakers in the tailgate is completely a waste of money.

Take it from me as a mechanic. You guys have got to stop spending one hundred thousand dollars on plastic computer chip garbage. Having also worked at a JDM import place (and briefly lived in Japan), I can tell you that a Kei Truck with a turbo engine, manual transmission and four-wheel-drive is far more practical and efficient for ninety-nine percent of Americans who claim they need a truck for work.

Its a nice truck but it is nowhere near being worth $84,000 dollars.

Nice truck, not built to last. By the time you get a hundred thousand miles in the odometer, all the plastics, electronics and computer chips hooked up to power train will start to break down. And you’re not gonna be able to fix it yourself, because it’ll need software that you won’t have a license for, and you’ll need diagnostic tools which will cost thousands. Not to mention, there will probably come a point 20 or so years from now where you’re not gonna be able to get service for the thing. I urge working-class people as a mechanic, you’ve got to stop spending $100K on plastic electronic garbage. If you need a reliable, affordable truck, go get an old Isuzu Turbo-Diesel. They’re well-made, they’re analogue, they can use inline Bosch mechanical fuel-injection pumps, timing chains, they’re analogue, the pump & cam is chain-driven, no computer chips to depend on, everything operates on a mechanical process, they use cylinder sleeves, cast iron heads, etc.

Not gonna elaborate on some of the ridiculous dumb shat you spewing over, but the (plastics & interior pieces are made of different materials other than some ole pos 84 ford fairmont... DUH🤪

So 85K doesn't get you a full size bed? Got it!

What does price have to do with a long bed? If you want a long bed then you buy a lower trim level and option it 😂
@flaturth1516 Жыл бұрын
@@OhioStateBuckeyefanstuckinMI No, they won't offer a full-size bed. That's the absurdity of these SUV's with baby beds. Just trendy, and not very functional.
@flaturth1516 Жыл бұрын
@@OhioStateBuckeyefanstuckinMI The only mid-size trucks that offer 6+ foot beds (ones you can actually camp in the back, for instance, or fit a plywood stack in, are the Frontier & Tacoma. No Ranger, Jeep or GMC Chevy will offer anything that will fit an adult human or a bicycle without the tailgate open. This is silly to lack options, while they gloat about record profits. They neglect folk that want a truck for work, not just for a suburban "macho" image of having a family car that looks like a pickup truck (albeit hideous proportions of a baby bed and oversized cabin)

@@flaturth1516 I mean you can get a Sierra Denali Crew Cab with the 6ft 6in bed. I’m thinking that would be plenty for most folks. If someone needs an 8ft bed I doubt there buying an 80 thousand dollar truck

I like this. I like a big truck with chunky bumpers and big tires. GM finally put a decent interior in their trucks. The luxury trims don't look like the work truck trims, cheap plastic buttons excepted. I really hate that matte chalky plastic GM uses for their buttons in everything from a Trax to an Escalade. Dual lockers are rare in any vehicle, it's a shame no one will ever take these off road. This may be better-suited to daily use than a Raptor or TRX but it lacks the over-the-topness of the widebody Baja-suspension trucks.

I wouldn't mind getting one of those. If only I was SUPER rich, instead of the regular rich that I am now!
