Love the way that back area reconfigures for load haulage or camping. The sun roof means you could camp without exposing yourself to night critters through the doors or back. This vehicle does it all.

Beautiful vehicle. I usually prefer a black exterior, but with that darker vadar chrome instead of so much shiny chrome as in the past this dark grey exterior looks incredible, now my favorite, easily. Am wondering what that is behind and above the rear view mirror that blocks that portion of the front windshield viewable glass? Concerns me a little. I think I'd rather be able to see thru the windshield all around the rear view mirror, though not having driven this yet I can't say if it's that much of a big deal or not.

@@DeLoEnterprises You're likely right. I do wish I could option this exact vehicle, but with the same 20" wheels and tires that come on the AT4. I'd still get this, absolutely, but I prefer thicker rubber than on 22" wheels, especially living in mountainy ski country with its often rougher roads. It's a max luxury suv, but it is still an suv. I might get this with the Duramax turbo diesel as well, if that was available on this Ultimate, but this 6.2 Liter V8 is pretty darn amazing, so I am a bit torn on that way. I just like the better mpg and larger gas tank of the diesel. I would get the regular length though, not the longer version, don't need that.

I’ve been looking at the Yukon Denali XL and Escalade ESV-V because I really like both trucks. But honestly there were a few things that helped me quickly hone in on the Escalade ESV-V. The first Deal Breaker was the gear shifter of the Denali. The 2nd was the overall dashboard configuration. When you look at the Escalade, Even the standard models the interior is literally night and day. Based on that I’m not even looking at Denali’s any longer. I’m all in on the Escalade ESV-V. Plus you get a 6.2L 682 HP supercharged engine. Denalis are a great SUV and I honestly still like them a lot. The interior difference is what helped me quickly make my decision on which one I’m getting.
