Dude I just bought my 2023 Grom brand new like a 3 weeks ago and was also at SMSBR. Mine is also the matte metallic like yours and believe it or not I was going for a black and purple scheme. 😂 I’m also about 3 hours south of Cincy

Just sold my grom and got a DRZ before the events. So I couldn’t go to either but next year I will. Just using the DRZ to learn wheelies then I’m getting rid of it 😂 (my grom was slammed so it wouldn’t stunt)

Yeah it will be at the beginning of the first video I put out for the trip. Gonna be a bit before I put one out though.

bro your handle bar set up is nice! i just got a grom clone and ive been lookin to start my customization journey! any good reccomendations?

For the clone I would drain all the oil out the motor and replace it asap. I would get new motor mount bolts because the ones that come on the clone are weak. I would also look into getting the motor mount plate for the bottom to stop vibrations. Also I would torque everything down and use locktight. After that grab a pair of 7/8 KLX110 Protaper bars and a cheap Amazon Exhaust and you are good to go, and maybe a diffrent carb.

what rpm do you typically cruise at? i try to stay below 5 but most roads around me are 45mph and i need a tune to run that under 5k rpm

I really don't pay much attention to that. I just cruise and just go by how the bike feels. My ecu has been tune to redline at 10.5k. Down in Tennessee with the hills my bike was running like 8-9k all the time trying to go uphill.

@@MishotoMoto what ecu did you go with? don’t know anything about these bikes i’ve only owned carbureted 2 strokes so a lot is foreign to me

I went with. CJR Stage 1.2 ECU that was pre flashed for the mods I installed. ( intake , cam, exhaust ) I have it linked in the description.

I mean you don't wanna run it off the limiter non stop but I have yet to have a problem shifting around 9k. 10.5k If I'm going for max speed. 2k miles so far.
