Man I ride the same area all the time. I’ve had my grom for acouple months now and was just trying to see what everyone else has done and I find a native. Hope to see ya around sometime fam🤙🏽🤙🏽

Add gas, just ride it. Suspension over anything else. It’s the Indian not the arrow.

Very good point on the exoust. I got the Yoshimura slip on, and sounds great. No more deer ir dog sightings on my bfe Kentucky back roads.

Hi, greetings from England , as a big mini bike fan , as a owner of 1 monkeybike 5 speed ,2 groms 5 speed and 4 benelli 125 tnts , the monkeybike exhaust wise ,changed the stock exhaust for a Yoshimura RS 3 exhaust not cheap but sound and quality it’s worth it , groms Leo vince twin under seat exhaust again not cheap but quality ,also the rear indicators have to be removed and a tail light with built in indicators installed , but that exhaust has definitely given the bike a bit more mid range pull, tyre wise I’ve put monkeybike vee rubber tyres on the groms just because I like the look of them , anyone interested the groms are the best road bike just ,the monkey is a riot and the seat is the best , the benellis are impressive bit of kit too , I only bough the benelli to compare it to the Hondas , as all you ever heard was ah their rubbish ,they fall apart , that’s rubbish as far as I’m concerned as I actually ended up with 4 !! and yes I actually use all these bikes in total I’ve done about 20,000 miles in 2 years , anyone thinking of buying a mini bike , which ever bike you choose do it you won’t regret it 🏍🏍👍👍

Just wrecked my grom at 5k miles. Apparently the deer didn't hear my stock exhaust. Haha Hit the deer about 30mph. Stock bars are fine. I prefer mostly stock stuff. I had just a tail tidy. Now I'm looking to fix it myself and do some mods.

The only thing that annoys me with the Protaper bars is the brand cover thing on the centre brace that's infront of the dash, I knpw the centre brace strengthens the bars alot but is it possible to remove the cover on it and just have a clean bar??

Yeah it's possible to remove the center brace. Also I'm pretty sure there are some protapers that don't have the center support. They are a different bend of bars width and height.

Ive keeped my stock grips and swapped bars, You just have to heat them the fuck up to loosen all that glue honda uses. Mine are deformed alittle bit

I'd do suspension over anything you listed first. You're not really focused on performance, be honest.

Top speed for a stock Honda grom ?

Top speed stock with me was about 60 tucked down. Downhill I hit 69. With all my mods I can cruise at 60 sitting straight up. I hit 80 on a downhill.

@@MishotoMoto I’m really regretting not getting this bike I ended up for some stupid reason getting a 150 Chinese scooter for $3,000 top speed is only 55 witch isn’t very good in my opinion and apparently they only last like 10,000 miles before the engine is toast I take good care of it but I hope it lasts more then 10,000
