2023 Husqvarna FE450: Who is it Built For?

The 2023 Husqvarna FE450 Enduro bike is a competition model off-road bike, and unfortunately, even though it has a headlight and taillight, it's not a street-legal dual-sport. We explain the differences between the FE450 (Enduro), FC450 (motocross), FX450 (cross-country), and FE501i (dual sport) in this video. Notice anything different about the frame and bodywork? This is also a "Heritage Edition" bike with a white frame, plastics, blue seat, and throwback graphics.
On another note, this is also the last generation Husky to come with this widely popular, chromoly steel frame, a hot commodity for off-road riders and racers. The 2024 model will come with an all-new frame from the Austrian group, catching up with the FC450 and FX450 models which already use the new frame.

I ride a '22 FE450 ( Euro) everyday to work and as my dualsport. I have explored all of Northern Thailand on this bike. Most fun I have ever had on wheels.

I totally appreciate the review, but riding my FC450 and FE501 on the trails back to back the other day pointed out how much better the gearing and the suspension are for enduro on the FE. I hear a lot of fault-finding in this review for an enduro bike being tested at a motocross track. I wouldn't bother taking my FE501 to an MX spot, and my MX bike is uncomfortable/noncompliant/abrupt for enduro. I think a review from a trail rider's paradigm should be a focus on your next enduro bike. But thank you for showing us what the bike is about, there is a lot to consider when this bike might make someone's wanted list. 🤟

I love the graphics! For my riding style a plush suspension and electric motor smooth engine is exactly what wins races as well as winning trail riding with your buddies. Husky knows their customers.

Have the 501 version of the same bike and year. Agree with everything you said. Tricks so far: 1-ECU from FC 450 of that Gen motor 2-Forks from that Gen 450 FC. 3-Shock settings from that Gen FC 450. 4-FMF Slip-on from previous Gen KTM 500 that fit. Last thing to fix is Brakes. Really think just a new Brembo front brake I'd all I'll need to complete my build, then it will be set. Actually turned out good do far, just needs Brakes now and rear one isn't too bad, I'm just a front brake guy and this one does have one. Well, actually better than the Magura's were... Cheers, 🤠
