I wonder if this is the upgraded navigation that's based on Tom-Tom as announced last year. I wonder if the second generation navigation systems will continue to receive complimentary updates going forward-- if we count this new system as gen 3.

As the video progresses the driver is showing the increasing complexity of the information available on the digital display and to my mind this is just as bad as a touch screen diverting the drivers attention from the road. Why not have speed, basic sat nav info and speed / traffic info on a head up display in the drivers line of sight.

Willing to bet the new sonata refresh will have a HUD. Isn't the Kia Niro the sister version of the Kona? Doesn't that have a HUD? Strange.
