I’ve got the 2022,the first year of this redesign. I have limited trim. The limited trim interior is incredibly comfortable and spacious. At the dealership, I looked at other trims, but sitting in the limited seats for the first time was a fantastic experience. It was that moment that I had to have this car. I’ve never had a truly comfortable car. The seat cushion leaves no back soreness. There is a lumbar support adjustable in the driver seat. The independent suspension does the job of keeping backseat car sickness down. The engine is quiet. 8 gears means less jarring shifting. Definitely a great car for a long range road trip. It also hugs the road for corners. The Bose system sounds awesome, but it does need some EQ tweaking depending on the music genre you’re listening to. One known issue is the audio can become muted, seemingly for no reason, and the solution was unplugging the negative battery terminal and plugging back in. Hyundai will replace the radio, and it takes ten minutes. But still… The moonroof is incredible. I like that I can push the button to get the setting I want without accidentally opening the sunroof portion. The backseats are huge. Seat warmers are cool. They also recline. Perfect for kid’s seats. The back windows do roll down all the way, so it’s cool. The trunk space is enormous. You could fit multiple kid strollers. If I had to complain, the lift gate is not easy to manually close. You must push the button or use the key fob. But what is strange is on the key you have to hold the button down the entire time it is closing. If you release too soon, the gate comes back up. I just wish it was easier, manually. I don’t mind reaching up. The engine power isn’t really a problem. I mean come on, you can get up to speed on an onramp. And, you can easily pass people on the highway. This is not a slow car by any means. For MPG, we live in suburbia and get 28mpg for average. Highway best is 33mpg over a 50 mile trip. City worst is 25mpg. Why do we lose wireless carplay? Seems silly. Thankfully, it has bluetooth. I dislike how the driver seat automatically adjusts to a default setting when you start the car. I have to press my seat setting or adjust everytime I start the car. I am over six feet, and it feels like I am being crushed when I first get in my car. I have not ruled out that this is mainly because my wife also drives the car, and it’s adjusting back to her size. The piano black interior components aren’t smudging like reviewers warn. I think this concern is overblown. The center console is the perfect height for laying an elbow. Hyundai gets bonus points for this minor detail. The driverless reverse feature is gimmicky, in my mind. It might work to get you out of a jam, but that just doesn’t happen very often. Finally, this car is big. It’s longer, wider, and taller than 90s Ford Explorers. It feels small while driving, but for parking and fitting into your garage, it’s not a small vehicle. Heated steering wheel, heated/cool seating, auto dimming rearview, lane keep assist, and other features really make this a cool car. Best of all, if you just want to start your car and drive without all the gizmos and gadgets…it’s totally capable and easy to get going. None of the tech gets in your way (unlike some modern cars). This was my honest review.

I have had my Tuscon Limited for about a month, and I absolutely LOVE IT. It rides so smooth. I love all the custom and safety features. It really feels like a top end luxury vehicle. I really don't mind the fact that I don't have wireless Android auto, I just plug my phone in, and a plus....my phone charges fast at the same time. One of my silly things that I love is custom ambient lighting because I can change it to the seasons and holidays, it is like I'm decorating my car with lighting haha. I also love the sounds of nature, the forest. It is so calming and clears the mind, and I have a relaxing ride on my way home from work. Thank you for another great video too!

Wife got a Hybrid Tuscon Blue trim to replace her 11 year old Accent. We got it in February and just took it on a 1500 mile road trip and it was great in every way! Love it already and with a full car and two kids were getting over 30 mpg, which I think is insane considering the additional weight/luggage we had. If you can get a hybrid I'd recommend that. The blue trim has a ton of features and its only about $3,000 more than the ICE. They are hard to find in stock though they go fast.

"Design Not Bland"? That means minor taps are going to be expensive repairs or panel replacements. As I age I really like the many proximity warnings, and Overhead camera View when backing. An image appears on the dash pointing to what is "Too Close" as the beeping sound increases in rapidity. Although I now have a handicap parking placard, the "Parking (smart) Assist" is a spooky if great idea. Getting used to not having the key in hand took a few days. Same with Push button start/stop and shifting. The 'repeater' for Navigation being in the center of the dash is VERY helpful, as when my old Gamr would turn in One mile, What is one mile? Well the dash shows the arrow of movement and a countdown of distance to the movement.

FYI....the uper trims with the 10.25" infotainment screen do not have wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto because of the navigation feature. Since the lower trims don't have navigation, they get the wireless connection. This was explained to me at my local Hyundai dealership.

This doesn’t explain why though. Would the signals interfere with each other? Doesn’t make much sense, but at the same time, it doesn’t bother me at all.

I need someone to help me decide what color to get for the limited- if I decide to trade. I currently have a 2021 KIA Seltos that is essentially this exact semester blue. So I don’t want that already again. I think the red is really sharp on this vehicle, but I am not sure I want a bold color again. Problem is, nine of the other colors are really speaking to me. I feel like they went way too traditional with their colors and sheens. I like the matte color look (not matte paint), but they don’t have anything like that. My favorite color of any vehicle is KIA’s Wolf Gray. This car would look amazing in that color! That won’t happen, so I am thinking Amazon Gray, Silver, or Portofino Gray. I bet next year they will have brand new and more interesting colors.

The auto stop/start is horrible. It kills the engine way too fast. The most annoying thing is when you come up to a stop sign when it kills the engine while you trying to pull away from the sign. The 2.5 engine is underpowered and can't hold high gear when traveling at 75 mph. Keeps dropping in a lower gear causing the MPG to suffer.
@zeprulz12 жыл бұрын
I hated that too. It was my only complaint with the gas model. Hella hard to get going when making a left turn across traffic. 3500 miles and 3 months in with my '22 Limited, some a**hat ran a red light and totalled it. Replaced it with the '22 Limited Hybrid. (LOVE me some gap insurance) Best car I've ever owned! LOTS more power. No auto stop/start. After a month and 1500 miles, I'm getting almost 37 mpg/roughly 480 miles per tank. On the gas model I was getting 24 mpg with same routine. If it's available, and Tucson's as a whole are not readily available in many places, I highly recommend the Hybrid. I wanted the PHEV, but I've been told we won't see those in Colorado until mid 2023 earliest.
