I don't care for his explanation too much. That's only good for the vehicle immediately behind it. All the other cars behind and to the side of that car won't be able to see them. If they were higher up with the rear taillight housing (like they should be), everyone behind them would have the opportunity to see them blinking.
@124thDragoon2 жыл бұрын
the "smart" design decision would have been to integrate the turn signals into the outboard brake light housings. We live in the US where we're likely to be next to trucks that are a bit taller than a Tucson, and their drivers' vantage point makes the Tucson's current turn signal placement less than desirable. They should also be LEDs.

Great review! I especially like the charts the compare car lengths (long time AOA feature) and the two comparison charts (pros & cons & prices) at the end. I've driven the 2.5 Tucson twice for 10 days as a rentals. It is a very nice unit, smooth power, comfortable, quiet, reasonable mgp (I got 30+). I wanted to buy the hybrid last fall, but with the dealer mark up it was over $5K more than a Subaru Outback Touring 2.5 and I couldn't justify the difference. Both Outback and Tucson are great cars.

All 2023 Tucsons have a 2,000lb towing capacity... they're family movers, not F-250s. The OEM Tow hitch for the Tucson has a 1.25" receiver, meant more for bike racks, not horse trailers.

@@ALMX5DP Well, i'm a dad with kids and I use Tucsons as a daily driver, grocery getter and family mover... I just traded-in my 2018 Tucson (with a trailer hitch for my kids bikes) for a 2023 Tucson Hybrid (with a trailer hitch for my kids bikes), so Tucsons and trailer hitch uses and limitations is kinda my thing... yep, right on the paperwork, 2K towing limit... though, as you mentioned, I may not want to push that limit. I believe the Hyundai OEM hitch is Class-2, but I've seen on Amazon Curtis makes a Class-3 tow hitch with a 2" receiver for the 2022/2023 Tucson. Since I only use my hitch for bike racks, a 1.25" receiver suits my purpose just fine.
