All the videos with that Laney sound very fizzy, and very trebly. Not sure if it's the pedals or the Amp. But your tone is normally great.
@RyansResolve Жыл бұрын
It’s likely a combination of both. Active pickups just don’t sound that great with cheap drive/gain. Too high output, sounds like a garbled mess.

This looks like it would be the 8string version of the TOD10

So in Tim’s “new whip” video he says that there are a few more signatures to come this year so this model could end up as a signature, I even saw an edit of this 8 string with a tree of death inlay and it definitely looks like it would be a tim signature/TOD8

@@raulpena5153 where did you see the edit? Can i get the link?

It's cool to see a new tool, even with a factory tag. my first 8-string guitar was the IBANEZ RG8-WHITE Electric guitar, the second copy of the IBANEZ RGMS8-BK Electric Guitar I bought a little later, I wanted to look at the fan frets. Now I want the same as in the video because there is no limit to perfection and development in music. and there are not many guitars 🤘🏼🎸

You do these4 kinds of extended range instruments a real disservice by showcasing them with a classic player like this guy. He can clearly play, he just can't play these.

i think it’s wild how many people are playing these in review videos and they make it seem like they’ve never heard Meshuggah in their life

@@SpiritofPoison And if you're just going to play the lowest strings, might as well just buy a 6 string and slap on a heavier guage of strings.

@@FrankyFeedler if you’re just going to play the lower strings at least make it sound cool lol

@@SpiritofPoison Just the lowest string even hehe. Switching back and forth between familiar 6 string licks and just noodling on the 8th string. Not sure if the seventh was touched. Amp cover didn’t help either.

@@FrankyFeedler i hate that you made me watch him play that again. he does use it but barely. honestly the worst part is the tone lol.

Really bad tone for the kind of guitar.. I would to see someone else play that beauty

That's an 8 string in hands of a classic player... I like him in his style but this is clearly not his domain and it sounds awful. Should be presented by a djenty man lol.

I don't know man, can't you tune that thing a couple steps? Those high notes are killing my ears. 😀 But seriously, I wouldn't know what to do with 8 strings. Much less, fanned frets and multiple scale lengths.
@cweasegaming2692 Жыл бұрын
Multiple benefits to multiscale: Helps make the lows not too muddy and with some guitars, it helps your high string not break by bending them. Also, it's a little more easy to tap the neck with multiscale
