Your cute little nervous giggle when discussing how May income went was SO RELATABLE!!!! I do that every single January and February then again in August. My work is semi seasonal. I’m an artist so my biggest sales happen in the months surrounding Mothers Day and then another big climb leading up to Christmas that begins September. January, February, and August are full of crickets. Selling custom art in the form of Silhouettes is my biggest earner of all time. It’s difficult for me to figure out ways of making auto money in the background of life but I’m brainstorming a tutorial type of e-book for children at the moment. I’m so glad you took time for yourself this year and that the 18% less didn’t make you sad. I think most everyone took a hit this year. I experienced a 19% drop from last year most of which happened in the first three quarters. I felt it but I was resolved about it knowing it was the state of the 2023 world and not a strike upon my character as an artist. I used the extra time to read more and we also built a house so I’m thankful I had that exciting distraction to partially take my mind off less income. Another awesome and interesting video Austen and I am planning to set up a few income streams including a Etsy store, Amazon store and a website to promote these and other products, services. I already have a Wix account and presently it's the free version but will change that to a paid account because the free version doesn't allow customer payments and ability to sell products and services.

My top earning income stream was technically brand deals, but my affiliate commission was just a few hundred bucks behind, which I was really excited about! But you're right, having a larger audience helps with that (which I do on other platforms). Thanks for always putting out such great content!

Where would you recommend getting started with ad revenue?

definitely either here on KZbin or on a blog! For both it usually takes at least 6 months to qualify for either the KZbin partner program or a blog ad network but once you're in, you can start earning money on all of your old blog posts and/or videos as well which is major! 💕 hope this helps.
