You got this so right, this car is about the full experience: speed, handling, sounds and looks. Other cars may be a bit better in individual aspects of these but nothing beats the F-Type in the combination of all aspects of the driving experience.

Also this is 2 cars in one: it is a full on sports car if you want it to be but also a comfortable and practical GT cruiser when you want that 😁 We took ours on a 3 week long 4200 mile long European Road Trip across 10 countries and fitted everything inside the boot under the shelf for 2 people 😎👌

Nice review. Btw- as good as this facelifted gen F-Type R sounds, it's actually a lot quieter and more mellow than my 2019 F-Type SVR, if you can believe that 😂

I couldn't agree more on every single point you made about the car & what the Jaguar is. Yes, I looked at Porsche, but for me the Jag was a better looking car and I feel more comfortable in it, I wanted a coupe and have a 2015 R AWD in santorini black with black pack, oh plus the carbon inlayed wheels :). It is the 550BHP engine not upgraded with latest software and none of the filter rubbish, as it was supposed to be. For such a car, you can still drive it like Miss Daisy quietly and it does it easily. Likewise if you want nuts, it'll deliver it in plentiful bucketloads. I think Jaguar have underplayed the performance with the R version, it has to be something pretty exotic to out do this car, the way it can take off and keep going even tasks the bikers. It puts down the power so incredibly well. As you may tell, I just love my Jag, I feel as if a million dollars in it! I see many more Porsches on the road too! I'm sorted. @derrickwalker1019 the car looks cool, but dated. A 2018 c7 grandsport and a 2018 ftype r. The vette looks better. Only thing the jag has going is the back quad exaust and the interior, they took away the exaust noise on the r. A seat in a R and for a starting price of 100k the interior is a 6/10

FORD WANTED TO PUT THE ENGINE IN THE ENTIRE PREMIUM GROUP LINE UP TO MAKE THAT ENGINE FAR MORE COST EFFECTIVE FOR FORD. IT FOUND IT'S WAY IN TRUCKS, LAND ROVER , JAG AND FORD !!. AND BTW, THE ASTON MARTIN V12 IS TWO DUROTEC FORD V6 ENGINES MOLDED TOGETHER. AND YES IT HAS SEEN MANY CHANGES SINCE THEN. FORD HAS COUNTLESS GLOBAL ENGINES!!, THAT ARE REGIONAL SPECIFIC.
