After a front differential failure on my Subaru Outback 2017 at 120,000km that happened on december 30th '23 while at my in-laws we we're lucky enough to have a friend working at the local Kia dealership (Kia Matane in Quebec, Canada) and we acquired a '23 Sorrento X-Line. I don't think it will beat Subaru on the AWD but in a pickle like we are, I think it's a great offering. My only complain is that most off-road review are made using the factory tires. I'd be curious to see a off-road review using something like a Michelin LTX or a BFG A/T (if it exist in 20 inches!!!).

You said the DCT that comes with the 2.5T engine overheats. Does the hybrid AWD model overheat as well, in stressful situations?

The DCT has overheated for other channels when stressed. As you can see, it handled these tests just fine. I’m sure the hybrid with its traditional 6-speed auto will be completely fine.
