I have the 2022 GT-Line AWD and look forward to every driving opportunity. I get a lot of compliments on its looks. It is a pleasure to drive and goes plenty fast when you need it. It pulls effortlessly to 100. I especially like how the car tells me when a speed camera is up ahead. On long trips at 75 mph I get about 28-29 mpg.

As an owner of the same, I can tell you it is a blast to drive and the best trim to get. Plenty of base power with better than expected highway fuel economy and reasonable around town. It's also an excellent highway cruiser, with very comfortable seats and a practical trunk. There is a spare, right below the 2nd cover in the back! Things I would change: get rid of the fake hood vents. The quad exhaust in the back is functional but mostly for show, as there's a single pipe going from the engine to the back. I'd cut it down to dual exhaust. I am pretty sure the engine bay braces are also for show. The left one interferes with checking/replacing the air filter. I consider it a bad design to prefer showy stuff over function. The lower trim in the back gets dirt very easily, more than any other car I've previously owned. The 8 speed traditional automatic transmission is very refined 95% of the time, sometime a bit sluggish to shift. The back rattles a bit over road imperfections. Should have been maybe 200lb lighter, e.g. by using less steel components. The visibility to the back is partially obstructed by the head rests and hatch window. I do expect a reliable vehicle, which will be a joy to drive.

I have a 2022 GT line and I think your review is spot on! Great car for the price...BMW and other brands are ok but unless your just a badge snob, Stinger is still the best all around for the price.

Let me say, me and the wife ordered a black with saddle brown interior K5GT1 it was 42K that car is very very quick. 290hp ans 311 ft lbs of torque. Ours has every option available. It is the best cat we have ever owned. Now that the wife has the K5GT1, soon it will be time for popa to grab a Stinger!! Why choose! Have both!

Great review. Im on my 2nd Stinger GT-Line. Love them both but the 2.5 upgrade is everything I need without that extra 10K for a comparable GT. Ceramic Gray w/ red interior is a real eye catcher. I lease my cars but this one is a keeper, especially since they are discontinuing. Love the “That’s a Kia ?’ Reaction from everyone. Im in my senior years and have owned all the prestige nameplates. This car makes me want to take the long way home.

My 2015 sonata Limited had rear heated seats heated and cooled seats in the front and with my military discount I only paid $25,000 for it. It's a shame that they didn't have an option for cooled seats in this car especially in Florida

The 2015 sorrento sx that we have was new when we purchased. It has 166,000 miles on it. Never failed to start and has had one repair. Front oil seal failed and destroyed the harmonic balancer. Cheap and easy repair. It still starts up no problem. 3.3 liter v6. The key is to maintain the car yourself. Do not take to the dealership for service. All these people that talk garbage or have had major problems have allowed the DEALERSHIP to do this.

I have a 2020 gt2. No problems with it at all. You can destroy the snak pak and Camaro and mustang. It is a true sleeper.

Battery is in the trunk, not passenger side hood area. Not sure what tires the rwd comes with, but the awd comes with bridgestone re97as-02 garbage. Slap some pilot sport or pilot sport all season for much improved grip. Not a fan of dealers who plaster their name on the car's rear. Hopefully it's just a static cling sticker which comes off easily.

Not a kia or Hyundai fan. But I will admit this is a lot of car for the money. It is about the same price as the new Integra with a spec with only 200hp. That's a bit of a head scratcher. I almost want to say nice job Kia.

Sorry man I just saw this.. I love the fact that you can get the integra with the 6-Speed but the stinger is a second and a half quicker to 60 so it’s a tough call. If you need a manual I guess the integra is your only choice but I’m you’re looking for an auto, stinger all day! 👍🏼

The rear view mirror and the plastic above/behind it sure obstructs a lot of the view forward. And this car does not make it easy to look out the back. I do think it has a spare tire under that foam in the rear.

For a $40,000 car not to come with ventilated seats is unacceptable. I wanted this car to replace my 2015 Hyundai sonata limited and it's nice and handles well but I'm not willing to go without ventilated seats or at least some type of seed cooling system especially living in Florida. Wish they would outfit the GT line in the United States the way they do in Korea and Germany

I drove one the other day, I have an 18 BMW 430ix. This Kia engine sounds pretty bad, the transmission is not very snappy and feels economical and not sporty at all. The car is comfortable and looks good, but my BMW feels night and day better as far as the responsiveness and drive. I would get a honda 2.0 over this after driving it which is sad because I like the looks of the stinger. Also the KIA dealer experience was not good at all.

All great points. However, if you get the chance test drive an Acura TLX A Spec and IS300t vs this. The Kia stinger isn't as responsive as your BMW, but it's definitely comparable to the Acura or Lexus and you get more for your money with the Kia. Never thought I'd ever make that statement, but I stand by it.

The price was pretty much the same in every dealership but I wanted the car in Ascot Green with all black interior so I got the only one I found out of state. It’s a steep price but so were other cars I looked into. Crazy times.
