Very nice video Nick! After watching your video, I feel like this might be something I could manage. I took mine to the dealer for the first service and I don't think they changed the screens. Do you have a complete list with part numbers of the individual items that are in the kit? They didn't use the kit and just listed the oil filter and three o-rings.
@NickandJodie Жыл бұрын
Hi bud, the part number is on the box in the video. I got them from eBay. You'll always get a better service when you do the oil change yourself- good Job

Nice video i just bought same bike and ktm are claiming that unless servicing is done by a ktm dealer (which is miles away!!!) the warranty is invalid !!!!!!!!!

Yes, exactly - not cool

I just bought one and my research (and dealer validated) shows that as long as you use the manuals recommended oil and parts and keep your receipts your warranty stays valid.

Hi there, have you faced an issue of the engine oil draining out quickly in the 390 ADV?
@NickandJodie Жыл бұрын
How fast are we talking ? It's normal for engines to use oil. For example 250ml in 2-3k miles
@thewanderinghelmet Жыл бұрын
@@NickandJodie 700 ml approx. in 1600 miles 🙁

I had also checked thoroughly for any leaks but I couldn't find any...am worried as my 390 ADV is just 6 months old

Perform an oil change and put the recommendation oil in. (If you haven't already) if no luck or you have done this yourself then contact ktm.

The recommended oil that comes in the KTM 390 oil change kit is semi synthetic. In order to not void your warranty, you'll have to keep receipts and be sure to use approved products.

AU$ 850 the inlet valve need to be shimmed and oil service ect I have modified my bike which is a 2020 with a DNA air box lid and a Rapid bike easy and iridium spark plug. Also put a 14 tooth sprocket on the front that helps with low speed off road riding but does sacrifice a bit of top end Was given a 2023 as a loner and it really helped me to feel that the mods have been well worthwhile
