Oil the filter inner grommet and filter cover o-ring before reassembling and things will go together more easily and without the risk of the o ring gripping against the filter pot wall and rolling out of position, creating a leak. O-rings on screens should be oiled too. Good job guys. Love the channel.

I just fancied and got one of that cool guy a couple of days ago but really dont have much about its mechanical and technical care in my pocket. My bike is different, to get the small drainer out you have to loosen exhausts two nuts and move exhaust to the left when looking from behind the bike. The small drainer is just underneath the exhaust. Torques of the two exhausts nuts are 8 nm. Believe or not! That is why I can not drain all the oil when engine is hot!

How is the AXP holding up after all this time? I really wanted one for the T7 but I think awhile back I saw it flex quite a bit when she rolled over a log so taking the weight of the T7 + mounted gear and rider (70kg) then really makes me wonder if it's up to the task. Also I decided to go almost all the way back to the beginning and watch all the videos going forward lol I think I found your channel on the test ride of the T7 maybe 3yrs ago, while I was still hung up on how awesome the Africa Twin was, or still is... It was during COVID lockdown at least lol It was really your videos which steered me heavily towards the T7, and I've been enjoying the development along the way, how you ride the T7 and all the locations you've been to. It's quite a journey so far. Biggest regret is back in the day I missed most of these videos so now finally get the chance to watch everything lol 😁
@MVDBR Жыл бұрын
Thanks man, look out the videos probably get worse the further back you go 😅 As for the bash plate, we ended up getting an aluminium one from B&B for the 390 which was a lot tougher and better mounted. The AXP kept flexing onto the exhaust and melting 😬
