Haha, this is cool! Bummer to find out now 😂 KTM should supply instructions, but maybe they do somewhere. If You bought the Offroad ABS Dongle for the 690, there were tricks as well in functionality with the killswitch involved. Not a word on thar in the instructions anywhere. Impossible to just figure out by yourself. Made a video on that to back in the days. Happy Trails with the new 890 💪🔥.

Hey Mathias, very nice videos. I just got my brand new 890 adv R. It’s so différent from my previous BMW GSA, it gives me the feeling that i’m riding a mountain bike 😂 I have a few questions : - coule you remind me which wire it should be connectes to ? ACC1 or 2 ? - are the connecting wires always on the side ? - are you happy with the Zumo gps ? I’m hesitating with a Montana. Thank you very much and I whish I could ride in such beautiful areas like yours
@Braapncamp10 ай бұрын
Hi & thanks 🙏 I measures on the ACC1 and ACC2 to get the one that shuts off with the ignition key.
@Braapncamp10 ай бұрын
Regardingvthe Zumo vs the Montana it.s more about what type of riding you are doing. Only riding small trails and sometimes hiking, Montana is good. For mixed riding the Zumo is better.

Unfortunately I can't remember, but I had no problem with loosening the TFT . I remember that square part though. Maybe I could hold it while wrenching. Hope you get to it. The hard part was to thread the wires thru all the way inside.

Hey Mattias. Well I finally picked mine up yesterday. Curious what metal handguards did you get? I saw Rottweiler has some that won’t be available till late April. I also plan on taking the BRP handguards fork mount off my 350 and seeing if it will fit on the 890 too. It’s way more secure. My 350 cycra handguards stopped spinning in crashes once I installed them

No i wasunfortunately not filming bc i was focused om what I was doing and not the camera. But, it was easy to unbolt the TFT to pass the wires thru the lower TFT attaching point. I run a ziptie from above down to the compartment where a hide the wire bundle, this to fasteners the wire and pull it up thru the TFT hole.
