Pros: lightweight enough that you can pick it up and use it on decks and walkways kzbin.infoUgkxoHYZbq5g9fkcAtinlTqstNlje-UQkCHN Powerful motor throws snow 10 to 25 feet. Very maneuverable because it’s lightweight. Also the light weight reduces fatigue and back pain. Cons: probably won’t work well in very heavy or wet snow. For example what snow plow left behind. As you can see from the photo it will blow up to about 12 inches tall. I recommend when you are blowing long stretches that you overlap a bit, So the motor can throw the snow far enough. I have a two car driveway about 60 feet deep. It’s the perfect tool for my needs. If I get over 12 inches or really heavy snow I’ll pay my son to come over and do it.

I was so worried about throwing down 600$ for a niche board like this. Even though it was recommended I buy a 153, I just couldn't do it and came home with the 156. But as soon as I realized just how wide this board is, I went back and switched it out for a 153 (5.11, 155lbs). It literally took me two turns on the first run to realize this is the most fun board I've ever ridden. It is honestly under hyped in my opinion. The only limitation is going switch but I'm willing to take the compromise. When I originally read about the board a few years ago the tail made total sense to me, and underfoot it works exactly like you would think. The pop feels just like an ollie, this board has more pop than any other board I've ever ridden. It also rails hard groomer turns and holds an edge really well but the rocker still provides a bit of playfulness when you want it. You really can have the best of both worlds on this board. It's just crazy to think how far we've come with snowboard design. So glad I took a risk and bought this board.

Hey guys, Im divided between this board and a burton custom flying v.. I push it hard all mountain, enjoy playfulness but need responsiveness especially for snapping fast carves in back country and moguls.. Any input?

The Burton Custom is leans more freestyle/all-mountain for riders who want to take some laps in the park in-between all-mountain exploring.
