Hi-tech, handles well, good performance but I don't get why Mercedes had to downsize the engine into a cynical 4 cylinder, as well as for the C63. Even the V6 C43 sounded better than this piece of crap.

It’s not the fault of Mercedes. It’s these EU Emission regulations to blame. It’s forced them to increase hybrid engine usage unfortunately. My dream car is the w205 and w204 C 63, the golden days when sound was the best

@@SirAMG63 But it was still too early to downsize it to a 4 cylinder. You could have still kept the V6 and V8 engine through 2035. Just add an electric motor and that's it. You don't need to ditch the V8 and V6 early before 2035 to comply with emissions regulations.

no one doubted the performance. The A45s is a monster , and this has the same engine but with a high tech turbo. It was just the emotion . If you want speed go for electric. a C43 should be a 6 cylinder

- AMG has almost completely lost their way.👎 - You can blatantly see Mercedes is trying to compensate for the lack of driver experience (engine sound & driver fun) by installing a ton of new features, going all out on the interior and making sure the looks are 10/10.💔 - (The fact they installed fake audio & have changeable dials to make the driver FEEL like they're in a sportier car is proof that what I'm saying is true to a certain extent)

A really nice car from Mercedes-Benz again but who the hell really needs all these electronic toys? To me, a non- downsized engine would be more precious, that means 4,3 liters of displacement on 8 cylinders for the C 43 AMG.

mercedes hasnt used their names as engine displacements for a while. Even the C63 wasnt a 6.3L . it was a 6208cc engine so 6.2 . The E55 was a 5.4 supercharged. The E63 2013+ was a 5.5 twin turbo v8 . The s65 was a 6.0L v12 engine. The 2016-2021 c43 was a 3.0 turbo v6 engine.

I hated the idea of 4 cilinder. Now 2024 May, want to get bmw m340i, 2023 model cost over 50k in uk with 13.9% on fiance, and still get manual seats, half of the cars dont even have Harmon Cardon, no spot monitoring, no leather dash board (u get fake one or have to pay for an upgrad). From Merc you can get a43 with £0 deposits 3 months old for £700 a month at 9.9%. Thought to my self, lets give it a try, book the test drive Merc Brooklands Weybridge. And i was shocked, loved the car. I know v6 twin turbo was amazing or 3 litres straight 6 is mind bloowing in amg and b58 from bmw is ome of the best 6 cylinders car. But for the price of 43am u can get only nice specs 320d hahaha 2023. One more time merc surprised me in such a positive way. Loved everything about the car. Of course 3 liters would be better. But lets see what other car makes will bring in upcoming years with all those stupid regulations in Europe

I'm sorry I'm the one who has to break it to you, BMW has baked into its cars something called Active Sound Design. Simply put, it "digitally re-creates the exhaust noise and plays the sound through the car's speakers." Even more simply, they fake it.

Unfortunately, we have to accept that V6 and V8 engines will no longer be built in the future. To condemn this car for that is absolutely wrong. Nothing Mercedes can do about that. In addition, the new C43 or C63 has more power than the old generation. Fuck the sound, with this car I'm destroying the old C63.

As a current C43 AMG owner it’s exhausting hearing people complain about the 4 cylinder. People elect liberal progressive politicians all over the world and they create fleet emissions standards that require engine downsizing. EVERY V8 and EVERY I6 and V6 will be gone because of the people who vote for non-conservatives. The car is quicker, better in fuel consumption, over 400hp and the engine is hand built - get used to it and stop b!tching. I also own an M340i xdrive and it’s only a matter of time before that masterful inline 6 goes away as well - I hate losing the 6 and 8 cylinders but I vote (in the US) for leaders like Trump who recognize that Auto emissions are a small part of the climate impact - so this crap is not my fault. If you complain here and voted for Biden or Trudeau or any of the similar left leaning European leaders, you created this issue so shut up!

The car will still have great performance and will get better gas mileage than a V6 Or V8 and your car insurance will be lower. The car is going to have a nicer interior. What is wrong with that! Having the F1 racing technology from Mercedes AMG racing team is a good thing. Being turbo electric is a good thing I love the new technology from Mercedes AMG.
