Driven correctly, enters and exit corners faster, is lighter more nimble and has brutal down force figures the CS can't compete with. BTW the Nurburgring is open to the public so anyone can have a go.

Why are we doing drag races with something that's made for the twisty track? Nothing goes through turns faster the 992 GT3 RS. I own one myself, and I'm blown away by it. I also own an M3, by the way, so it's not like I'm hating on the other car.

I think most of us enjoyed the comparison. Last I checked races are completed with straights and turns. There are also plenty of examples of less corner capable cars faster around a track due to top end.

There is no production car that corners faster than a 992 GT3 RS, and no current mass produced car that with a quicker time around the racetrack that serves as the bar of measurement worldwide (the Nürburgring). This track has turns AND straights, so of course the 992 GT3 RS also accelerates very well and has a respectable top end. But the 992 GT3 RS is made for tracks with corners, not drag races. Was this video still interesting to watch? Of course, and I never said otherwise. So while I find these drag comparisons fun, just like you, I don't find them super relevant. Understand now?

you could buy two of the BMW for the price of the porsche lol...there are people here in the southeast USA that are dropping 30-40k extra on these M4's and putting much bigger turbo's and camshafts, full bolt on's , straight piped exhaust, methane injection, ice box in the trunk, ecu tcu tuning, ethanol, running 1500+ hp and still daily driveable and reliable...so keep that in mind...

Why not race it against a standard 911? The gt3rs has way to much functional down force to be as fast as a standard 911 in a drag race Id rather see that because the gr3rs is known for track prowess which means it sacrifices straight line speed
