I have a 23 also. I still have paper tags and I'm at 2k miles already. This is my 9th bike and I went back down to a lower cc because I love this bike. The maintenance and cost of ownership on small cc bikes can't be beat. I'll probably keep this one for a long time.

I’ve heard nothing but good about this bike, thank you for your honesty and sharing your experiences. I’ve never ridden one before but man is this my dream bike. 😭💕

@@DaggRevsif I’m buying a used ninja 400, what would be best if I know nothing about bikes? I’m new rider , take to shop to inspect or buy a new one ?
@DaggRevs9 ай бұрын
@Lucasvilla56283 Depends on your budget. If you're buying used, definitely inspect all major functions on the bike. Make sure the bike hasn't been dropped or been in any accidents, (obviously) Buying new would be the easiest option, but it will definitely be more expensive. In MN, I paid $7,300 OTD from $5,599 MSRP with ABS. (The only reason I bought new is to have peace of mind in all honesty lol. That's worth it for me, though) Do some research and I'm sure you'll find what you want soon enough. Ride safe 👍

I had an 05 zzr600 6 years ago and it was great until i eventually crashed 🤷♂️. I now have a 2023 z400 abs and let me say, this thing is fun, quick enough, gets good fuel economy, and taking it up 77 through the arbuckle mountains this thing is FUN.

I looked at the Corbin seats for my Ninja 400, but the price into my country was so prohibitive (yup, almost a third of the bike), so I am trialing the CCRider Gel seats, and my wife says that the Pillion seat certainly seems better. For me, it is more comfortable, especially when decelerating!
@DaggRevs10 ай бұрын
I'll have to look into that seat. Thanks for the information! Ride safe.

I think this is going to be my first bike. Not crazy powerful but fast and sleek enough to learn. Just finished my msf and getting my endorsement today!

I’ve been told to start on a zx6r cause eventually I’m going to want to upgrade although I’ve never rode b4 idk what I should actually get tbh also haven’t went through the course yet I’m trying 2 tho soon
@DaggRevs11 ай бұрын
I haven't been tired of my 400 yet, but if I were you, (if you had the budget,) get either the ZX4RR or Ninja 650. It doesn't have to be a Kawasaki either, you could go with any manufacturer you like, just research and watch alot of videos to make sure you know what you're getting into. Also, if you can try to go to a dealership and sit on a bike that would help make your bike decisions easier Both bikes I mentioned are pretty fast bikes, and you won't get bored anytime soon riding them. What keeps me from getting bored is modding out the bike. Good luck with finding your first bike and ride safe 👍
