Finally some reviews of the sport model, actually love the wingless look

We were excited to review this model. We understand that most reviews are on the Performance version, so it was nice to highlight this one. We hope to have the opportunity to review the Performance very soon and give a comparison of both.

Truly a beautiful car. The Sport I feel is very decently equipped for what it costs, especially keeping the same engine as the performance trim. I feel like it will draw in a lot of people who may have been considering the 2.0 Supra.

Excellent video, I just subscribed. Unexpectedly I am in the market for a newer Z since my 2016 red nismo tech that I've owned for 6 years was stolen off of my driveway a few weeks ago. I'm leaning towards the performance model. Nismo is too steep for only 20 more hp. Hopefully the new Z is less desirable to the professional thieves.

Agreed! It omits off a VQ exhaust note, vs. VR.

It’s amazing, how different the Z is versus the Q60. But the main different I hear from the Z is the exhaust note? Can you tell me if the Z has the exact same exhaust set up as the Q60 red sport
@FastIntentions2 жыл бұрын
The exhaust note is a bit more pronounced and “VQ-ish”. It sounds much more like a Z, and less like a Q. At this time we’re not at liberty to share any data comparison specs of underneath the car.

That engine bay looks terrible to work around let alone modify. To swap a turbo you are gonna have to drop the motor/subframe. The lack of an lsd looks skeptical when pushed. I imagine a lot of noobs crashing their sport model (the future salvaged/reconstructed title model). Those brakes should not be taken seriously. The tires are a square setup on 245 width tires. For 400hp 350lbft they will roast under hard acceleration. Combine poor traction with a lack of an LSD, skinny tires, and small brakes, I can see a lot of accidents waiting to happen.

Would you personally get the base trim or premium one?
@FastIntentions2 жыл бұрын
Great question! It comes down to goals: if I’m going to track this moderate/heavy, I buy the Sport (Base). My objective is to upgrade everything, and bring it to my spec. If I’m going to build a street car, with performance mods, and maybe light track use, I buy the Performance Model. I then leave most of the OEM suspension/brake components intact and enjoy.

Compared to the 370z, the lines and styling of new Z are BORRRRING! The 370z lines are much more radical, edgy and aggressive from all sides and angles. From the massive front and rear fender flares to the boomerang headlights and taillights the 370z is a much more striking car. Over time the styling and super clean but edgy lines of the 370z will go down as one of the best looking Z cars ever made. Oh yeah, I get it. The New Z is very clean looking too and it does capture the classic 240z lines very well (exception rear taillights). I do like what Nissan has been able to accomplish with the New Z, however, the 370z will always be my choice of Z's as well as a super head turner well into the future. Randy Rodriguez nailed it with the 370z!

Good review, my opinion personally I would stick to my 370z. I have a 2016 370z. I think the style of the 370z is way better style then the new 2023 model z. Especially the rear end on the 370z is way better then the new model. 370z has better curves then the new one. Also on the new z model the rear end tail light is a bad design, Nissan should have put the 280z rear design lights like, with the duck end spoiler. And not the 300z look alike rear lights. But hay that's just my opinion. Overall AWSOME! Review though 😊👍
