I like the square sink looks of more use than the round sink in ours. A few things I wish Palomino would change are the location of the thermostat so you don't end up leaning on it when your are trying to chill inside cause it really gets in the way. The other is the location of the rear observation camera, I would prefer to see on the other side (Passenger side) which is your blind side when driving alone. Great videos Guys and good to see you back in front of the camera Phalen.

Yes. It’s easier to find 2 small square tubs than 2 half circle tubs for washing dishes.

Thanks for the suggestions on the thermostat and observation camera, will pass this on. Yes, I just can't quite fully get away from the camera. :) I felt a little rusty. :)

@@Erin-Thor - We ended up buying a square plastic dish pan for doing dishes. When we pack up it becomes a place to store the kitchen counter stuff and just sits on the floor with the camp mat and chairs.

On this model you would need a port-a-potti. You get a toilet in the SS-1240 and toilet/shower in the SS-1251, SS-1500 & HS-750.

No it cannot, it has to be plugged into 110 power or a generator.

The only one that fits a Colorado is the SS-500.

Yes it will, unless it is a dually, then there will need to be some modifications.

It can be mounted, but the only half ton trucks that will have enough capacity to haul the SS550 with you sitting in it plus some camping gear, water, etc. are the F150 and the Silverado 1500 with the additional load package. Just check the truck manufacturer specs and be realistic about how much additional weight you'd be hauling around too (which includes the weight of all passengers). Neither the Tundra nor the Ram 1500 will cut it without modifications. I'm hauling my SS550 on a Silverado 2500, short bed.

Can you order these with a 12v refrigerator?

It is a 3 way refrigerator, gas, electric & 12 volt. However the 12 volt on these don't do very well, at best maintains after it is cooled.

It actually doesn't run the fridge at all on 12V. 12V is only to power the control panel. It only cools on either 110V or propane. I did remove the fridge when I completely rebuilt the camper (2021 SS550).

@@stadtbewohner - Yup, hence my question. THIS refrigerator is not intended for 12v use. You need about 100-200 Ah and 100-200w Solar to power it indefinitely.
