This is the new ORIGINAL Pelican Bass Raider, which I know call the Perch Raider, since that's what we catch, haha. I do lots of modifications and changes to this little fishing boat. We add a 55lb thrust trolling motor with a 80 Amp Hour lithium battery. Many upgrades such as, Rod holders, GoPro mounts, new brackets added for additional fishing rods. Added nice soft EVA foam matts to walk on plus much more.

I had a Newport, Just as good as anything else in the same class. I sold it with my old Pelican. Almost bought another, but I found a barely used BassRaiderE with a 55lb Minnkota for $500 this past winter 😁

Great overview and loving that craft! It’s going to be something that I’ll definitely be picking up one in the future. I like how it’s got those transoms on both sides. But the big question is, was it overpriced?🤔😂🤣 My Minn Kota has the battery meter on it as well, but I have found I can’t always trust it. I’m at 5 (full thrust) most of the time on the skiff, so I don’t get good mileage at all. 55lb thrust is a beast tho!

Thanks!! I still love your flying saucer!! I do NOT trust the gauge lol. It ALWAYS reads full.......never has went down lol. I am a little worried lol. Atleast down there you can choose between the bass pro version. I looked at both an its pretty much the same. Plus its a little cheaper but couldnt get that up here lol.

@@SaskFisherI had to drive down to the 🇺🇸 2 years ago exactly to get mine from bass pro paid 799 I believe…it came out to about 1050$ Canadian, this was covid time, so Jon boats and even these plastic pontoons were scarce and no wher to be found. Love the boat! It does exactly what I need it to do, get me off of those terrible banks in Ontario…no spots available ever lol😂
