Thanks Austin for sharing. My family's been involved in Motorsports since the 40's.. I've owned Dirt Modifieds, Midgets and Sprint Cars. I've been invited numerous times to this show and always decline. Over the years I've had great product sponsors. I retire in March and will be back to vintage Sprint Car stuff. It's funny but I first attended PRI back when it was held in Cincinatti. I attended many times when it was held in Columbus, OH too. Back then they restricted the use of cameras, videos, etc. With the introduction of Go Pros and smart phones that restriction was dropped as unenforceable.

It's also essentially free PR and marketing for them and the vendors as well. They don't have to bother covering the event, because "we" do it for them, and have larger more active social networks 😉
