I loved the Q-jet. Thats what I had on my 66 Biscayne 2 door post 427 4 spd. It worked great! We talked about it briefly at Mopar fest in the AMC area. Good videos that you a Rich do. Thank you both.

At $2500 for that run stand I would think that would be money well spent for any good shop.

Either spend the money, or redneck engineer yourself something to do the job. Time is money, what makes the most sense? Everyone makes their own call... but I personally think this is a heck of a good idea!

Women in racing is very cool. But, most surround themselves with great people and mechanics. I have found that women are mentally just as tough and talented as a man in racing. Thank you for sharing Austin.! Well the Trans Am is a perfect example of the need of an engine stand. plus gives you a chance to correct problems. Love that kid on Cam Racing. He’s like a pioneer in building cars. Loved the interaction with the vendors. ATM was neat. When I was a teenager street racing was big. Then took it to the Drag strip. Some great conversations. Always learn some information. Thanks for sharing your time at PRI . 💯👍👊

@LucoreAuto Information on capabilities of a new product they call "Core ECU" and VCM Live. For Gen 3 LS1 engine ie, 1998 z28 camaro. Suppose to release in early 2024. My question is does this new software even support the first LS1 engines ie, 1997 corvette and 1998 camaros/Firebird. GM changed some things in 1999. Their website hints at real time self learning tuning like the Holley efi products but it's not clear that's what this new firmware/software does. I'm guessing it supports 1999 and newer LS1 engines. I have a 1998 LS1 z28 camaro.

It is a 300 hp installation in serial vehicle but the engine is pushing 500-700 hp in some European racing series

My understanding of it was a compliance issue, trying to get it through all the levels and certifications it would need to go through to be sold. This option is already past all those phases and ready to go.
