This proton ain’t no joke, I’m not very big so I don’t have it 300+ very often but I did today about 20 swings out of the wrapper, this bat is an absolute lazer🔥

Hello I received my bat yesterday 26.5 half ounce endloaded and my son picked it up since I was camping. He used off the Tee to break it in. This morning in California it 70 degrees so it was it nice a cool. He first swing was a Hr 😮. He went 3-4 . He played another 2 games and hit another Hr. People are asking were to buy them. I haven't used but I don't hit Home run anyway. We . 44 core balls.

What are pros and cons with Linear vs non linear bats? I understand within some preferences in feels and swings, however what’s your prospective? I swing Monsta M2 tech

So the non-linear tech is better when it gets hot outside and the balls turn to mush. They also tend to be more forgiving with bigger sweet spots. If you play in the colder months and the ball really starts to get hard the linear bat will have the advantage in both performance and durability. But for me either performance advantage or disadvantage is fairly negligible. It really just comes down to feel. I personally like old school bats and so swinging a linear design gives me that feeling. You do have to work harder with them but I kinda like that.

Been a Demarini guy forever. Love my 2022 Juggy, trying the 2024 Flipper aftermath and don’t love it right now. Would this bat be better in a full or half oz endload to compare weight wise to juggy?

Question. I have purchased 2 Hot Butter 26oz. One from Proton and the other I won in a FB raffle and it came from SIS. The knob on the one from Proton was yellow but blue on the one from SIS. Anyone know why? Both are 1/2 oz EL.

I have heard the blue knobs are supposed to be the 1oz endloads, but I'm honestly not sure. I think part of it is using what they have on hand.

On the knob...........white hat is "balanced"..........light blue is .5oz endload and dark blue is Full oz endload

I've swung a full oz as well. Really just comes down to personal preference, I didn't notice a jump in performance.

I swung it and filmed a review but somehow lost the footage. The bat was on loan and i had already sent it on before I realized. I didn’t notice any difference between the production model and the proto though.

How do Hot Butter and King of Diamonds compare in your opinion?

2 very different bats. The KOD is the kind of bat that really does the work for you. Just get the barrel to the ball and let the tech do the work. The Hot Butter has a more traditional feel. The harder you swing, the more rewarding it will be. Both are top notch performers really comes down to personal preference. Performance aside, the KOD is much easier and cheaper to come by I know for myself that is always a consideration as well.

Good videos. The swings aren't all "conference style " Average player swing and the bat technology showing what it can do. Protons are sweet just need that consistency of availability.

Wow balanced and endload?! I did prefer this over the Smith. But I’m also a big 2-piece guy. I can make a 1-piece work but if I have the option I’m grabbing a 2-piece! 😂

Honestly whatever your preference is. I personally like an endloaded bat, but that doesn’t make it any better or worse than the balance version. The best bat is always the one you are most comfortable with.

How good is it with 52’s? Compared to like a monsta torch?

They are very different bats. All we were hitting in the video is 52's and you can see what it will do to them. Once the weather cools off and the ball isn't so squishy the Hot Butter will definitely go toe to toe with the Torch. When it's warm the Torch will still have the advantage, but it's not by much.

Yeah unfortunately with the supply chain issues they had last year, it’s been rough. I just submitted the artwork for the next batch of 2-piece bats so they are in production and I just heard the camo bats are starting to arrive.

Umm… if you are going for pure durability I would still go with like an older DeMarini or even something like a Suncoast Backlash.

Other than the 1-piece vs 2-piece no, not really. I think the Butter is more forgiving, but that's the case with most 2-piece bats.

@@AlbertoHernandez-cf1fl They are 100% different bats. The ASA Series 2 has the Monsta FIB tech in it. The new Hot Butter is a linear design just like their Smith. The real advantage of the Hot Butter is that you can hit harder balls with it, and come time when the weather cools off it will hold up a bit better.

From what I have heard they are suppose to drop on Monday but the guys are getting back from Europe too so depending on their level of jet lag that might change. I’m sure they will have the same weighting options as the Smith, unfortunately 26 is still gonna be the cap on weight though.
