@@neog3461 Who said to you that there is no tappet in the J 350 engine? Indeed there is a tappet in the engine. And thats why you hear this "tappet noise". No tappet, and the engine will not fire in the first place. Take off the tappet, and your engine is as good as a showpiece. You can have it in your storeroom.

@@RealHellowhy are you being offended?? New j series engines does not have tappets instead it uses cams so the sound comes due to lack of proper valve adjustments. Older UCE engines worked on hydraulic tappet which adjusts automatically and old cast iron engines had tappets which needs to be adjusted manually. The previous UCE engines and cast iron engines used pushrod mechanisms so that the camshaft is absent in that models but the new j series engine has SOHC shaft so there is tappets to be present. Correct me if I’m wrong.

@@mz_captor9459 Yeah, after reading my comment, I feel that I was a bit too rude for no apparent reason.😂 I shouldn't have been written like that. I am wrong when seen from the literal sense, as a cam and a tappet are different components. I had to say things not so direct, as I expected the commentator to come and say otherwise so that I can elaborate it, only that he didnt come back. Yeah, the J series doesn't have a tappet. But the system acts like a typical tappet hitting the valve when the valve gaps are not propper. When the valve gap is not proper, the cam hits and slaps on the valve instead of sliding along the surface.Just the name of the component is different, while the action near the valve is simply the same in this case. Thats what a common man would refer to as the tappet noise. And what I found out was, the noise that most of these J series engines has is not because of the valve clearance, but it was due to the low-quality bearings inside the engine. Seems that the main bearing in the new engines are simply built light and are prone to wear out so fast. This is why the noise doesn't subside even after any amount of valve adjustments. It is a design issue. Nothing can be done in this case. People need to live with it, with frequent bearing replacements.

Bro both are different types of bikes. Highness is a street+tourer and Bullet is a cruiser which has more torque in low speeds whereas highness' sweet spot which provide the optimal power is in mid rpm
