2023 running session/ Class 24 081 freight journey with two layouts involved

A just under 25min freight operation journey hauled by 24 081 Diesel locomotive. The mission. To deliver 5x VDA/VBB vans from Godwilling Marshalling yard to Barham sidings. This involved filming two layout. Ballan Parkway and Paxton Road. From a sunny day back on the return journey Sunset to the evening. Enjoy the journey! Note towards the end a couple of segments lost the audio. I have left them in for artistic purposes.

Thank you. You still can my friend. Just let me know when you want to come down and film my layout. Three layouts including yours should work really well. The only thing is at the moment it’s really cold where the layout is. I do have a heater in there but only a small one.It would be great to see what you put together. Richard

Thank you David, The 24 is from Sutton Locomotive works. I managed to pick this one up second hand. It’s a terrific model. I am still waiting for their class 25. Which was ordered a few years ago now. Should be out soon.

So glad you enjoyed it Darrell. As you properly noticed a lot of your shots on your layout are lower down to avoid shelving etc where the station is. It really worked well I think. Your layout looks great.

Pity a class 24 is vacuum only & the wagons are air brake only so you should have had a brake van!Enjoyed the concept of the video though & the journey!

@@CHESEABUN any of the loco number books for specific years tell you what Locos are duel or vacuum only Locos .Obviously wagons were either non fitted ,vacuum or air or even duel braked! research is necessary!Hope that might help in railway knowledge?!
