Hi Teoh! I think you should give the Tombow Fudenosuke pens a try. They give beautiful thin and thick lines, better than the Uniball Air in my opinion. I used to use the Air, but the line variation is not as obvious as can be with the Fudenosuke.

I am in Auckland, Nz, but other than watching and being amazed by your sketches... not sure if the workshops would be for me :D Can we go and watch how you guys work? :D :D Will the workshops be in the city somewhere?

Workshops will be in the city at various locations. You can probably watch. There will be sketchwalks for public as well and those are free. But if you want to join the opening (with goodie bag) and closing, then you'll have to get the Sketch Pass.
