@@thewinner7382there are a total of 3 (or 6 depending on the source) countries that use Fahrenheit. The rest of the world uses Celsius. If you’re going to be picky about learning a different temperature, learn kelvin (it’s almost as useless as Fahrenheit)

This is an absolutely fantastic way to combine art and history. I think you should do one for every year! Could you imagine what it would be like for possibly your future family members to look back and compare years by their blankets temperature? Looking at things like that evokes memories almost immediately, you’re able to connect back to what you were doing at that time. @@SylvainJoseGautier- Oh, definitely you could switch colors mid-row so you keep the 1 row @ day format but then the blanket is low-temp on one half & high-temp on the other. It’s a bit more work/complexity, but I bet it’d look cool.

It honestly looks beautiful as is ♡♡♡If you do want to do a border then keep it simple: two row border - single crochet then crab stitch all around. You can do it in white. Another idea I had is to do the single crochet row in white then do the crab stitch border in your temperature gauge. Do the whole bottom in coldest temperature color, do the whole top in hottest temperature color, then divide the sides based on the rest of the colors, making a few more stitches on the sides the top and bottom colors. Especially helpful if you aren't doing a monochrome or rainbow.
